The money buys a flat 27-inch QHD screen on a Fast IPS panel rated at 350Hz. Amazon shows the price as 32 percent off a $499.99 list, and that anchor holds up, because $499.99 is what Samsung itself asks and what the model launched at.
The listing ships from and is sold by Amazon.com rather than a marketplace seller. That matters on monitors, where dead-pixel and return handling differ sharply between sellers.

Amazon sells the monitor under the model code LS27FG60DENXZA. Samsung's US product page for the same screen carries the code LS27FG606ENXZA instead. Those are retail-channel suffixes on one model, and Samsung's support site does list the Amazon code.
The 350Hz claim and what it needs
Samsung lists 350Hz as the panel's maximum refresh rate, not as an overclock unlocked in the menu. The variable refresh range runs from 48Hz to 350Hz.
There is one caveat the listing skips. Samsung does not state which input carries the full 350Hz, and the monitor has only one DisplayPort 1.4 and one HDMI 2.1.
The 1ms response time is Samsung's grey-to-grey figure at the fastest overdrive setting. No independently measured average is published, so treat it as a best case rather than a typical one.
Feeding 350 frames per second at 1440p is its own problem. Anyone buying for the headline number should check what their GPU manages in the games they actually play.
Where the G60F gives ground
Samsung's spec sheet puts brightness at 350 cd/m2 typical, with 280 cd/m2 as the guaranteed floor. Contrast is a conventional IPS 1000:1, so blacks look grey in a dark room.
The color spec is 99% sRGB at 8-bit. Samsung publishes no DCI-P3 figure for this model, which makes VESA DisplayHDR 400 the entry rung of HDR rather than a real one.
There is no local dimming to go with it. That is the usual trade for an edge-lit IPS panel at this price, and it is the main thing separating the G60F from the OLED version of the same Odyssey G6 line.
Connectivity is thin. There are no speakers, no USB ports and a single HDMI input, so a PC and two consoles will not all fit without a switch.

The Odyssey OLED G6 at $601.36 is the obvious step up, with true blacks and a 0.03ms response figure. It costs roughly 1.8 times as much, which is a lot for 10 extra hertz.
The AOC Q27G3XMN at $211.59 trades speed for contrast, with 336 mini-LED dimming zones and DisplayHDR 1000. It runs at 180Hz, roughly half the G60F's rate.
The LG UltraGear 27GS75Q-B at $170.99 is the floor for a 1440p IPS panel with a pivoting stand. Amazon shows only eight units left. Cheaper 1440p options keep surfacing, including a Quantum Dot GIGABYTE panel with KVM at $159.99 and an Alienware 280Hz QHD screen at $199.99.
What the listing leaves out
Neither Amazon nor Samsung's US page states the warranty term for this SKU, and neither publishes a US-units size and weight table. The box holds the monitor, a power cable, an HDMI cable and a DisplayPort cable, according to Samsung's own listing images.
