Performance in benchmarks
To better understand the performance of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+, I ran a series of benchmarks and compared the results with two other tablets: the entry-level Galaxy Tab A9+ and the high-end Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. As the following charts show, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ delivers solid mid-range performance, comfortably ahead of budget models, but well below what Samsung’s flagship tablet can achieve.
I started with Geekbench 6, where the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ had a single-core score of 1363 points and a multi-core score of 3911. These numbers reflect decent responsiveness and good multitasking ability, showing it’s roughly 40% faster than the Galaxy Tab A9+ in single-core operations and twice as fast in multi-core workloads. As expected, it trails the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, which got significantly better scores of 2124 (in single-core) and 7231 (in multi-core), thanks to its flagship processor.
This difference is noticeable if you run demanding apps or switch between multiple tasks frequently. Graphics performance tells a similar story. In the OpenCL test, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ scored 6444 points, and in Vulkan, it managed 6833. That’s nearly five times the performance of the Galaxy Tab A9+, but well behind the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra’s staggering 12319 points (in OpenCL) and 14242 (in Vulkan). These numbers confirm that while the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ can handle casual games smoothly, it’s not designed for high-end gaming or 3D rendering.

Next, I checked the productivity-oriented performance of the tablet, with the help of PCMark’s Work 3.0 performance tests. Here, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ reached 13458 points. This is a strong result and a significant jump from the 10206 scored by the Galaxy Tab A9+, confirming that the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ is well suited for web browsing, document editing, and multitasking. Obviously, it’s behind the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra which scored 16541 points, but for a mid-range tablet, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ holds its ground pretty well.

Benchmark results in PCMark
In the 3DMark benchmarks, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ shows decent GPU performance for a mid-range tablet. It scored 5016 points in the standard Wild Life test, more than four times higher than the Galaxy Tab A9+ (1202 points). This confirms it can handle casual and moderately demanding games.
However, the more intensive Wild Life Extreme test tells a different story. In that benchmark, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ reached just 1337 points, while the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra achieved 5335. This highlights this tablet’s limitations when it comes to demanding 3D gaming. It’s good enough for everyday titles and smooth gameplay at medium settings, but it lacks the graphics power needed for more graphically intensive games.

In terms of battery life, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ did exceptionally well. In PCMark’s battery endurance test, it lasted 13 hours and 41 minutes, a substantial improvement over the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. While the Galaxy Tab A9+ lasted even longer at 16 hours and 9 minutes, it benefited from a lower-power chipset and lower screen resolution. For most users, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ easily offers a full day (or more) of use on a single charge, especially for tasks like media consumption or note-taking.

Last but not least, network performance via Speedtest showed the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ hitting download speeds of 643 Mbps and upload speeds of 440 Mbps on a Wi-Fi 6 connection. That’s a meaningful upgrade over the Galaxy Tab A9+, which reached just 291 Mbps. But it doesn’t compare with the speed of the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, which reached 858 Mbps when downloading data.
In real-world use, streaming, downloading, and uploading data to the cloud on the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ is fast and reliable.

In summary, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ delivers a satisfactory experience in most aspects. It’s not designed to compete with flagship tablets in raw speed or gaming, but it outmatches entry-level models by a wide margin and provides more than enough performance for typical tablet tasks. Combined with its excellent battery life, it’s a great choice for users looking for a good balance between performance and battery life.
What do you think of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+?
The Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ offers a well-rounded tablet experience with a big, bright screen, a satisfying battery life, and a premium build, all without a premium price. It’s not a powerhouse, but for everyday tasks, multimedia consumption, and note-taking with the included S Pen, it performs reliably. If you’re after a large Android tablet that covers the essentials and then some, this one’s easy to recommend. But what’s your take on it? Would you choose it over a flagship tablet? Or maybe you prefer a smaller device? Let me know in the comments and let’s discuss.
