The game follows Santana, a woman who has split her consciousness between two lives. In the physical world, she continues living as herself. In the digital world, she works a job that places her in direct contact with Mesa, an AI who believes she is human. Santana’s role is not to comfort Mesa or help her discover herself. Her job is to tell Mesa that she is not human and force her back into the place society has assigned to her.
That setup gives Prove You’re Human a sharp emotional hook. The game is not only asking whether an AI can feel human. It is also asking what happens when people are paid to deny another being’s sense of self, even inside a digital space.
Sunset Visitor is building another story around timely social questions
