Lenovo Yoga 9n Reportedly Becomes the First Convertible Laptop With NVIDIA RTX Spark

Lenovo is reportedly preparing the Yoga 9n, a premium convertible laptop built around NVIDIA’s new RTX Spark processor platform.

The Yoga 9n is expected to be one of the first Windows 11 notebooks using NVIDIA’s ARM based system on chip. It combines a convertible design, an OLED display, stylus support and a wide selection of ports, placing it firmly in the premium productivity and creative laptop category.

A second model, called the Yoga Pro 9n, is also reportedly in development. It appears to use a larger display and a more traditional laptop design while adding features aimed at artists and content creators.

Pricing and exact availability have not been confirmed. NVIDIA has said the first RTX Spark devices are expected to arrive in fall 2026.

Yoga 9n combines a convertible design with OLED

The Yoga 9n is expected to share several design features with Lenovo’s existing premium Yoga systems.

Its aluminium chassis reportedly includes a 360 degree rotating hinge, allowing the laptop to work in four main positions. You can use it as a conventional notebook, fold it into tablet mode, place it in tent mode or use the keyboard as a base in stand mode.

The hinge also appears to contain a rotating soundbar. This design helps keep the speakers directed towards you regardless of how the device is positioned.

The report describes the screen as a 14 inch PureSight Pro OLED panel with a resolution of 2.8K. OLED technology should provide deep black levels, strong contrast and vivid colour reproduction, although final brightness, refresh rate and colour coverage have not been disclosed.

An infrared webcam is reportedly placed above the display. It is expected to support Windows Hello facial recognition and include a physical privacy shutter.

RTX Spark brings NVIDIA hardware to Windows on ARM

The main feature separating the Yoga 9n from Lenovo’s current Yoga laptops is NVIDIA’s RTX Spark processor.

RTX Spark is an ARM based system on chip that uses technology from NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture. The platform is intended for Windows 11 notebooks and is expected to combine general processor cores with integrated NVIDIA graphics and artificial intelligence hardware.

NVIDIA appears to be positioning the chip for gaming, creative applications and demanding productivity workloads. However, real performance remains unclear because final retail systems have not yet been tested.

An earlier prototype reportedly showed limited performance due to unfinished drivers. NVIDIA has since released its first developer preview driver for Windows 11, suggesting that software support is progressing before commercial laptops arrive.

The ARM architecture may also affect application compatibility. Native ARM software should provide the best performance and efficiency, while older applications designed for conventional x86 processors may depend on emulation.

Final results will depend on drivers, operating system optimisation and support from application developers.

Lenovo includes a broad selection of ports

The Yoga 9n reportedly offers more physical connections than many thin premium laptops.

The left side is expected to include HDMI, USB Type A, USB Type C and a 3.5mm audio connection. The right side reportedly includes another USB Type A port, a second USB Type C connection and the power button.

The presence of two full size USB ports could be useful for connecting older accessories without adapters. HDMI support also allows the laptop to connect directly to external displays and televisions.

The exact specifications of the USB Type C ports have not been confirmed. It is not yet clear whether they will support features such as Thunderbolt, USB4, external graphics or high wattage charging.

The laptop also appears to use a full size keyboard with a number pad. That detail may indicate a larger chassis than the reported 14 inch display size suggests, so the final dimensions remain uncertain.

Yoga Pro 9n targets artists and creative professionals

Lenovo is also reportedly preparing the Yoga Pro 9n with the same RTX Spark platform.

This version is described as having a larger 15 inch screen and a magnetic stylus holder built into the lid. Its large haptic trackpad can reportedly double as a drawing surface when used with the pen.

That feature could allow you to sketch, edit images or control creative software without drawing directly on the display. The usefulness of the design will depend on stylus accuracy, pressure sensitivity and software support.

The Yoga Pro 9n is also expected to include six speakers. The audio system reportedly consists of four woofers and two tweeters with Dolby Atmos support.

Its larger chassis provides space for a full size SD card reader, which may appeal to photographers and video creators who regularly transfer files from cameras.

Important specifications remain unknown

Lenovo has not officially provided complete specifications for either model.

Memory capacity, storage options, battery size, display refresh rate and RTX Spark performance targets remain unknown. The maximum charging speed has also not been mentioned.

Pricing will be particularly important. The OLED panel, aluminium construction, advanced hinge and stylus features suggest both laptops will compete in the premium market.

Battery life will also be closely watched. ARM based processors can offer strong efficiency, but the OLED screen, large display and graphics performance may increase power consumption.

The Yoga 9n and Yoga Pro 9n show how Lenovo may position NVIDIA’s RTX Spark platform beyond basic productivity laptops. Both models appear designed for people who want a flexible Windows machine with strong graphics, creative features and premium hardware.

More information should become available before the first RTX Spark laptops arrive in fall 2026.
