Crunchyroll has confirmed that Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 (“The Culling Game”) premieres in January 2026. An exact day hasn’t been announced yet, but it’s slotted for the Winter 2026 anime season.

Early look in theaters
Ahead of the TV/streaming debut, Toho/MAPPA are releasing a compilation film, JUJUTSU KAISEN: Execution — Shibuya Incident x The Culling Game Begins. It bundles a Shibuya recap plus the first two episodes of Season 3: Japan opens Nov 7, 2025, with North America from Dec 5, 2025 via GKIDS.

Where you’ll watch
Outside Asia, Season 3 is set to stream on Crunchyroll.

What it adapts
Season 3 covers Gege Akutami’s Culling Game storyline (with lead-in material sometimes labeled “Perfect Preparation/Itadori’s Extermination”), picking up directly after the Shibuya Incident arc. Expect high-stakes domain battles, shifting rules, and the long-teased sorcerer showdowns.

Who’s making it
MAPPA returns as the studio. Shota Goshozono directs, with Hiroshi Seko on series composition; returning character designers include Yosuke Yajima and Hiromi Niwa. A new teaser highlighting the arc accompanied the date announcement.
