Grand Theft Auto 6 fans believe Rockstar Games may have placed a hidden reference to the game’s Leonida map inside the latest GTA Online update.
The suspected clue appears in The Kortz Center Heist, where players noticed a framed abstract painting with a green shape. Some members of the GTA community argue that the image resembles the map fans have been building from locations shown in GTA 6 trailers, screenshots, and promotional material.
Rockstar has not confirmed that the painting is connected to GTA 6. The comparison therefore remains a fan theory rather than an official map reveal.
The discovery arrives as players continue waiting for GTA 6 Trailer 3 and a larger marketing campaign ahead of the game’s planned November 19 launch.
Fans rotated and mirrored the painting to compare its shape
The painting does not immediately resemble a conventional map. Fans have rotated, cropped, enlarged, and mirrored the image to look for similarities with the projected shape of Leonida.
Some believe the artwork could represent the full game world. Others suggest that it may show only Lake Leonida or another section of the map.
