Rockstar Games is bringing a familiar Grand Theft Auto joke back in GTA 6, transforming the popular Scooter Brothers meme into a vehicle delivery service that players can access through their smartphones.
The feature allows protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos to request their personal vehicles while exploring Vice City and the surrounding areas of Leonida.
According to newly revealed gameplay details, players can open their in-game phones, launch the Scooter Bros. application, and pay to have a vehicle delivered to their location.
The delivery driver then leaves the area on a scooter, continuing a joke that first became popular nearly two decades ago.
The addition provides another example of how Rockstar is incorporating references to previous Grand Theft Auto games into GTA 6's expanded gameplay systems.
GTA 6 Scooter Bros. App Lets Players Request Their Vehicles
The Scooter Bros. application functions as a convenient way to retrieve vehicles without returning to a garage or traveling to their parked location.
When Jason or Lucia needs access to a vehicle, players can open the smartphone interface and select the delivery service.
A driver will arrive with the requested vehicle before departing on a scooter.
The service requires payment, although Rockstar has not disclosed the exact delivery fees or whether prices vary depending on vehicle type or distance.
The feature could become particularly useful when exploring GTA 6's large open world, especially if players frequently switch between different cars or leave vehicles behind during missions.
Rockstar has not yet explained whether Scooter Bros. will have restrictions related to police pursuits, inaccessible locations, or damaged vehicles.
Scooter Brothers Meme First Appeared in GTA 4
The Scooter Brothers reference originated from a popular Grand Theft Auto IV video released around the game's original launch in 2008.

The clip featured a player riding a scooter who encountered another scooter rider and enthusiastically celebrated their shared choice of transportation.
The moment eventually became a recognizable joke within the Grand Theft Auto community, with the original video accumulating approximately 7.5 million views on YouTube.
Rockstar later acknowledged the reference in Grand Theft Auto V.
When switching to Trevor Philips, players could occasionally encounter a scene involving Trevor riding a scooter near another scooter rider.
That appearance helped establish Scooter Brothers as a recurring reference within the franchise.
GTA 6 Expands Vehicle Management Through Smartphone Features
The new Scooter Bros. service suggests that smartphones will continue playing an important role in GTA 6's gameplay.
Previous Grand Theft Auto titles already allowed players to use phones for contacts, missions, websites, and vehicle related services.
The latest installment appears to expand these interactions with additional applications connected to everyday activities.
Scooter Bros. also provides a practical use for a community reference that previously appeared mainly as an Easter egg.
The feature could make vehicle management more convenient, particularly given the reported scale of GTA 6's world.
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Rockstar has not confirmed a PC release date.
Additional details about the Scooter Bros. service, including pricing and availability during missions, are expected to become clearer when the game launches.
