GIGABYTE has expanded its GeForce RTX 50 series lineup with the AORUS GeForce RTX 5060 ARI 8G, a new graphics card built around the company’s original ARI character.
The card combines an anime inspired exterior with GIGABYTE’s triple fan WINDFORCE cooling system, RGB lighting and a reinforced metal backplate.
It is aimed at gamers and content creators who want a more distinctive RTX 5060 design without giving up the cooling features found on conventional AORUS models.
AORUS RTX 5060 ARI 8G key features
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| GPU | GeForce RTX 5060 |
| Memory | 8GB |
| Cooling | Triple fan WINDFORCE |
| Fan design | Patented Hawk Fan |
| Air pressure improvement | Up to 53.6% |
| Air volume improvement | Up to 12.5% |
| Thermal hardware | Large copper plate and composite copper heat pipes |
| Fan rotation | Alternate spinning |
| Lighting | Side mounted RGB |
| Backplate | Reinforced metal |
| Included extra | Random ARI doll in one of five colors |
The visual design is one of the main differences compared with more traditional RTX 5060 cards.
GIGABYTE has placed ARI themed artwork on both the cooler shroud and the backplate, while RGB lighting is integrated along the side of the card.
The company says the design is intended for buyers who want to personalize a gaming setup around anime inspired hardware.
WINDFORCE cooling uses three Hawk Fans
Cooling is handled by GIGABYTE’s WINDFORCE system.
The triple fan design uses the company’s Hawk Fan technology, which is designed to reduce airflow turbulence while increasing pressure and total airflow.
According to GIGABYTE, the fan design can increase air pressure by as much as 53.6% and improve air volume by 12.5%.
The fans also use an alternate spinning arrangement. Adjacent fans rotate in opposite directions, a layout intended to reduce turbulence where their airflow patterns meet.
That should help move air through the heatsink more efficiently.
Copper plate and heat pipes handle GPU cooling
The cooler also includes a large copper plate that makes direct contact with the GPU.
Multiple composite copper heat pipes then move heat into the heatsink for dissipation through the three fans.

GIGABYTE also uses thermal conductive gel on components such as the VRAM and MOSFETs. The company describes this material as server grade and says it is intended to improve heat transfer from those components.
Screen Cooling is also part of the thermal design, allowing air to pass through parts of the heatsink and backplate instead of being trapped inside the card.
Reinforced backplate adds structural support
The AORUS RTX 5060 ARI 8G uses a metal backplate that connects securely to the I/O bracket.
That reinforcement is intended to improve structural rigidity, which can be useful on larger triple fan graphics cards where cooler weight can place additional stress on the PCB.
The backplate also carries part of the ARI themed artwork, so it contributes to both the structural and visual design.
GIGABYTE is also including a collectible ARI doll with each card. There are five different color variants, with one packed randomly inside the box.
The AORUS GeForce RTX 5060 ARI 8G therefore focuses less on changing the underlying RTX 5060 specification and more on offering a distinctive cooler, reinforced construction and themed presentation for buyers who want something visually different from a standard graphics card.
