Gaming laptop prices have increased across several major US retailers in November 2026, making it harder to find affordable configurations even as Black Friday approaches.
Several laptops that were previously available at lower prices have become more expensive in recent weeks. Some retailers have also raised their regular starting prices, reducing the value of advertised discounts.
Despite these changes, a handful of gaming laptops equipped with Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 and RTX 5070 graphics cards are currently available below their previous listed prices.
The latest offers cover models from Asus, Lenovo and Gigabyte, with prices starting at approximately $1,016 for an open box configuration.
However, buyers should compare current offers with historical prices before making a purchase, since some discounted models were cheaper earlier in the year.
RTX 5060 Gaming Laptops Start at $1,015.99
One of the lowest priced options is the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14, available through Best Buy's open box inventory for $1,015.99.
The configuration includes an AMD Ryzen 9 270 processor, RTX 5060 graphics, 16GB RAM and a 1TB SSD.
It also features a 120Hz OLED display with 3K resolution.
However, the discounted unit carries a Fair condition rating, meaning it may have cosmetic wear or other limitations associated with previously opened products.
Another option is the Gigabyte Aero X16, which currently costs $1,224.99.
This model includes an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor, RTX 5060 graphics, 32GB RAM, a 1TB SSD and a 165Hz QHD+ display.
Although its previous listed price was $1,499.99, the laptop has reportedly sold for $1,099.99 earlier this year.
RTX 5070 Models Remain Available Below $1,600
Several RTX 5070 gaming laptops are also receiving discounts, although the available configurations differ in memory, storage and display specifications.
