Epic Games Store Makes Sker Ritual and Home Free Until October 29

Epic Games Store has announced two new free PC games for its weekly giveaway, offering Sker Ritual and Home: A Unique Horror Adventure at no cost until October 29, 2026.

Both games became available on October 22, replacing the previous week's giveaways, Agent A: A Puzzle in Disguise and Bad Cheese.

You can claim both titles during the promotional period and keep them permanently in your Epic Games Store library.

The latest selection focuses entirely on horror, although the two games offer different experiences, including cooperative shooting and atmospheric exploration.

Sker Ritual Offers Four Player Cooperative Horror Combat

Developed by Wales Interactive, Sker Ritual is a cooperative first person shooter set in the supernatural world introduced in Maid of Sker.

The game allows up to four players to work together against waves of dangerous enemies known as the Quiet Ones.

These creatures are failed experiments controlled by Elisabeth's order and have taken over Sker Island.

Players must survive increasingly difficult encounters while managing their weapons and adapting their combat strategies.

The game also introduces elite enemies and powerful bosses with unique abilities, requiring teams to adjust their tactics throughout each session.

Although Sker Ritual emphasizes cooperative gameplay, its horror setting and supernatural enemies distinguish it from conventional multiplayer shooters.

Home Offers Atmospheric Horror With Multiple Endings

The second free game, Home: A Unique Horror Adventure, comes from developer BancyCo.

Unlike Sker Ritual, Home uses pixel art visuals and relies on atmosphere, exploration, and storytelling rather than traditional combat.

Players awaken inside an unfamiliar house during an approaching storm and must investigate their surroundings.

The game changes subtly depending on player decisions, creating different interpretations of its events.

Multiple narrative paths and endings encourage repeated playthroughs.
