Eight Xbox games are scheduled to disappear from sale across August and September 2026, although several of the removals come with important exceptions.
Five smaller indie games were already removed without warning on August 6, while Warface: Clutch, Railbreak and the Xbox 360 version of Toy Story 3 have confirmed delisting dates ahead. In most cases, owners will continue to have access after removal, but Warface: Clutch is different because its shutdown will also make the game unplayable.

The first five games were removed from the Microsoft Store on August 6 without advance notice. According to the information currently available, they are expected to return later under a different publisher.
Warface Clutch will shut down completely
Warface: Clutch has the most significant removal on the list.
The free to play online shooter is scheduled to be delisted on August 25, and because its online service is also shutting down, it will become entirely unplayable after that date.
This makes it different from most normal digital delistings, where players who already bought a game can continue downloading and playing it.
HAWKED is facing a similar fate. It has already been removed from sale and is scheduled to close on September 7, although it is not counted among the eight titles in this particular list.
Railbreak is being replaced by an expanded version
Railbreak will leave direct sale on September 4.
Its removal is tied to the arrival of Railbreak DX, a newer expanded edition with additional graphics work, polish, gameplay improvements and Xbox Play Anywhere support.
The existing Railbreak release will no longer be sold individually once the new version takes over.
However, the new edition does not appear to be offered as a free upgrade for owners of the original game.
Toy Story 3 leaves sale before Complete Edition arrives
The Xbox 360 version of Toy Story 3 will be removed from sale on September 29.
This delisting is connected to Toy Story 3: The Complete Edition, which is scheduled to launch for Xbox Series X|S on October 15, 2026.
The new release will include the content from the original game along with updated graphics and additional features.
Players who already own the Xbox 360 version will continue to have access after September 29, so the delisting does not remove the game from existing libraries.
Most existing owners will keep their games
For most titles on the list, delisting only means they can no longer be purchased by new customers.
Existing owners should still be able to access the games they already own.
Warface: Clutch is the main exception because its server shutdown removes the ability to play the game entirely.
The current list may also grow before September ends, as additional publishers can announce removals with relatively short notice. For now, these eight games are the confirmed or already completed Xbox delistings highlighted for August and September 2026.
