Aukey Launches Qi2 Charging Station With Four 200W Retractable USB-C Cables

Aukey expanded its charging lineup at CES 2026 with the debut of the MagFusion DeskHive 5X Pro, a high-power desktop charging station built for modern multi-device setups. The new charger targets users who juggle laptops, phones, tablets, and accessories on a single desk and want fewer bricks and cables.

A 5-in-1 desktop charging hub

The MagFusion DeskHive 5X Pro combines wired and wireless charging in a compact, cube-shaped design. Aukey designed the unit as a 5-in-1 solution, pairing a Qi2 wireless charging pad on top with multiple wired outputs on the sides.

At the core sits a 200W total power budget, enabled by GaN technology. This allows the station to power demanding devices like laptops while still charging phones and accessories at full speed.

Retractable USB-C cables reduce desk clutter

A key feature is the inclusion of four high-power USB-C charging paths, two of which use built-in retractable USB-C cables. Each cable extends to roughly 29.5 inches, letting users pull out only the length they need and retract it when finished.

In addition to the retractable cables, the station includes a fixed USB-C port and a USB-A port. One USB-C output supports up to 140W USB Power Delivery 3.1, which covers most modern Windows laptops and MacBooks.

Qi2 wireless charging with magnetic alignment

On top, the DeskHive 5X Pro features a Qi2-certified magnetic wireless charging pad rated at 25W. The stand tilts for comfortable viewing, making it practical for charging a phone while checking notifications, joining video calls, or using StandBy-style modes.

Qi2 improves magnetic alignment and charging efficiency compared to earlier Qi implementations, delivering more consistent speeds and reduced energy loss.

Real-time power display and safety features

Aukey added a digital display to the front of the charging station. The screen shows real-time power output for connected devices, helping users understand how the 200W budget distributes across ports.

Built-in safety systems handle overcurrent, overvoltage, overheating, and short-circuit protection, which matters when several high-draw devices charge simultaneously.

Pricing and availability

Aukey plans to release the MagFusion DeskHive 5X Pro in Q2 2026, with a suggested retail price of around $149.99. The charger sits squarely in the premium desktop charging category, competing with multi-port GaN hubs and all-in-one wireless stations.

Part of a broader MagFusion push

The DeskHive 5X Pro joins Aukey’s wider MagFusion ecosystem showcased at CES 2026, which also includes modular chargers, travel-focused Qi2 accessories, and portable power banks. Together, they signal Aukey’s focus on high-power, clutter-free charging for desks, bags, and shared spaces.

As Qi2 adoption accelerates, products like the DeskHive 5X Pro highlight how charging hardware continues to consolidate into fewer, smarter devices.
