Amazon shows the monitor at 29% off a $1,199.00 list price, with Amazon.com itself holding the buy box. Availability read "In Stock" on most checks, and "Only 1 left in stock" on one of them.
The anchor holds up. ASUS lists the same model at $1,199.00 on its own product page, where the ASUS eShop listing is currently out of stock. The Amazon price sits $350.00 below what the maker asks.
What the $849 price covers
The panel is a 31.5-inch QD-OLED running 3840 x 2160 at 240Hz. ASUS quotes a 0.03 ms GTG response time and certifies the display as G-SYNC Compatible.
Connectivity is one DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC, two HDMI 2.1 FRL ports and one USB-C running DP Alt Mode. That USB-C carries 90W of power delivery, and a three-port USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub sits beside it.
ASUS covers the monitor for three years, and its spec page states that the warranty includes panel burn-in. The company credits a custom heatsink, an airflow design and a graphene film for holding panel temperatures down.
There is no dual-mode trick here. ASUS publishes no second resolution or refresh preset for this model, unlike some of the newer 32-inch 4K 240Hz tandem WOLED panels now reaching the market.

Two other listings are worth weighing, and both had Amazon.com in the buy box at the time of writing.

What the listing leaves out
The Amazon feature bullets skip the port list entirely. They name no brightness figure either, stating only that the monitor meets DisplayHDR 400 True Black.
ASUS is not much more forthcoming. Its spec sheet gives a 1,000 cd/m2 HDR peak with no window size attached, and publishes no SDR brightness or contrast ratio.
The 99% DCI-P3 and Delta E under 2 numbers appear in marketing copy rather than in that spec table. ASUS also footnotes that peak brightness varies with colour pre-calibration.
Neither page mentions that the stand has no pivot, or that there are no built-in speakers. The listing says 32 inches while ASUS records 31.5 inches of viewable panel, a gap worth keeping in mind alongside other ASUS 4K monitor discounts.
