Acer Predator Atlas 8 Launches at $1,299 With Intel Arc G3 Extreme and 120Hz Display

Acer has revealed the pricing and availability of its Predator Atlas 8 gaming handheld, confirming a $1,299 starting price for a configuration featuring Intel's Arc G3 Extreme processor, 24GB of LPDDR5X memory, and 512GB of storage.

The device is listed at Best Buy and is expected to return to stock on November 1, 2026, after reportedly selling out during its initial preorder period.

The Predator Atlas 8 competes with other premium Windows gaming handhelds, including MSI's Claw 8 EX AI+ and the OneXPlayer 3.

Its lower price makes it an alternative for players interested in Intel's latest integrated graphics hardware without paying for higher memory and storage configurations.

Acer Predator Atlas 8 Features Intel Arc G3 Extreme Graphics

The Predator Atlas 8 is powered by Intel's Arc G3 Extreme platform, based on the Panther Lake architecture.

The processor includes 14 CPU cores alongside integrated Arc B390 graphics featuring 12 Xe3 cores.

This configuration is intended to deliver gaming performance in a portable device without requiring a dedicated graphics card.

Acer has paired the processor with 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM, which should provide sufficient memory for modern gaming and multitasking.

However, the included 512GB of storage could become restrictive for players maintaining large game libraries.

The handheld also features an 8-inch IPS touchscreen with a 1920 × 1200 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

Its display supports up to 500 nits of peak brightness.

The MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ offers 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage for approximately $1,799.

Meanwhile, the OneXPlayer 3 reportedly costs around $1,499 with a comparable 24GB and 512GB configuration.

Acer Predator Atlas 8 Returns to Best Buy on November 1

Acer has indicated that the Predator Atlas 8 will become available again on November 1 following strong initial preorder demand.

The handheld offers the same class of Intel integrated graphics as more expensive alternatives, although its memory and storage capacities are comparatively modest.

Independent gaming benchmarks will be necessary to determine how its performance compares with competing devices.

For now, the $1,299 price makes Acer's handheld one of the more affordable options featuring Intel's Arc G3 Extreme platform.
