Acer's Predator Atlas 7 handheld has reached pre-order, and the number that matters most is missing. Acer's own UK product page lists the handheld with no price and points buyers to select retailers instead of to Acer.

The Atlas 7 runs Windows 11 Home. That makes it a Windows gaming PC in a controller shell, not a console and not a SteamOS machine.
Exactly one configuration appears on that page, listed as PA07-I51-G1L5 under part number NH.U86EK.001. It pairs an Intel Arc G3 chip with 16GB of memory and a 512GB SSD.
What Acer has confirmed about the Predator Atlas 7
Acer introduced the Atlas 7 at its IFA 2026 press conference in Berlin as a 7-inch companion to the 8-inch Predator Atlas 8. The base model code is PA07-I51.
According to Acer's press release, the handheld reaches North America in Q4 2026 and EMEA from November 2026. Those are months, not ship dates.
Australia appears in the Atlas 8 availability line but not in the Atlas 7 one. Acer bundles two months of Xbox Game Pass Premium with the handheld.

The 60Whr option brings the weight under 700g. Cooling uses two fans, one of them a metal Predator AeroBlade unit with 89 blades at 0.1mm thickness.
Dual Thunderbolt 4 is the standout. Most Windows handhelds ship with plain USB-C, and Acer pitches these ports at docks and external displays.
Acer has published pricing for no region at all
The press release carries no price in any currency. The UK product page carries none either, and Acer's own UK store shows zero units of the Atlas 7 in stock.
The Acer UK promotions site that hosts the pre-order launch pack would not load at the time of writing. Its contents, its value and its closing date cannot be confirmed from Acer.
North America has a quarter and nothing else. That repeats the pattern from the Atlas 8, which Acer announced in May 2026 with no price in any currency either.
How the Atlas 7 compares with the Steam Deck OLED and ROG Xbox Ally
| Specification | Predator Atlas 7 | Steam Deck OLED | ROG Xbox Ally |
|---|---|---|---|
| Operating system | Windows 11 Home | SteamOS 3 | Windows 11 Home |
| Display | 7in 1080p IPS-level, 120Hz | 7.4in 1280 x 800 OLED, 90Hz | 7in 1080p IPS-level, 120Hz |
| Memory | Up to 24GB | 16GB | 16GB |
| Battery | Up to 80Whr | 50Whr | 60Whr |
| Weight | Under 750g | About 640g | 670g |
Asus publishes the same panel recipe for the ROG Xbox Ally, down to the 500 nits, and prices its base model at $599.99. Digital Citizen covered how the Ally became a stronger budget option as Steam Deck prices rose.
Acer separates itself on battery capacity and memory ceiling instead. The Steam Deck OLED answers with a brighter HDR OLED panel and SteamOS, and it is the lightest of the three.
Asus recently opened pre-orders for a pricier OLED sibling, the ROG Xbox Ally X20 at $1,299. Without a figure from Acer, the Atlas 7 cannot be placed against any of them on value.
The figures Acer leaves out
Acer quotes battery capacity and stops there. Its footnote says battery life varies by configuration, power settings and usage, so there is no runtime figure in hours and no test condition attached to one.
Acer also does not say which configurations get the 80Whr pack and which get the 60Whr one. The under-750g weight therefore cannot be tied to a specific model.
The 10% airflow gain claimed for the metal fan is footnoted as Acer internal testing against the plastic fan. Valve is the only maker of the three that publishes a runtime range, at 3 to 12 hours of gameplay, and it hedges that as content dependent.
Being a Windows device means the usual Windows handheld work applies, including features like Microsoft's Auto Super Resolution on Intel handhelds. Still, pricing, the exact ship date and the launch pack terms are all blank on Acer's own pages. Any of those can change once retailers start taking orders in more regions.
