PC players have a wide selection of discounted and free games available this weekend, covering major releases, complete franchises, difficult indie games, and DRM free classics.
The Epic Games Store is currently giving away OTXO and Sol Cesto. Both games can be claimed without payment until August 6, 2026, and will remain in your library after the promotion ends.
Steam’s latest discounts include Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Resident Evil 4, Gears 5, several Batman games, and multiple Need for Speed releases. Separate offers are also available through Humble, itch.io, and GOG.
Prices and availability may differ by country, so you should check your regional store before purchasing.
Epic Games Store Offers Two Free Roguelites
OTXO is a top down action game built around fast gunplay and repeated runs. It includes a large weapon selection, more than 100 abilities, and a dodge mechanic designed to help players escape incoming fire.
Sol Cesto takes a different approach. It is described as a tactical and fast paced roguelite in which luck affects your path through a procedurally generated underground world.
Both games are free until August 6. After that deadline, Beacon Pines and We Were Here Together are scheduled to replace them.

Humble Bundle Focuses on Difficult Games
The latest Humble collection is centred on games known for demanding platforming, combat, or precision based movement.
The starting tier costs $6 and includes Getting Over It, Pogostuck: Rage With Your Friends, Splodey, and Never Give Up.
The complete $13 tier adds Ghostrunner, Egging On, Jump King, Aeterna: Darkness Megapack, Lorn’s Lure, and GRIME Deluxe Edition.

Major Steam Games Receive Large Discounts
Several newer and premium games remain relatively expensive despite their discounts. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is available for $40.19, while Dying Light: The Beast costs $39.59.
Other higher priced offers include Cronos: The New Dawn at $35.99, Sid Meier’s Civilization VII at $34.99, and Battlefield 6 at $34.99.
Some of the strongest discounts appear on games released several years ago. Cyberpunk 2077 is available for $17.99, Resident Evil 4 costs $9.99, and Gears 5 has fallen to $4.49.

Marvel fans can also purchase Spider-Man Remastered for $23.99 and Miles Morales for $19.99. Buying the three discounted Spider-Man games separately would still require a substantial total, but each is currently below its regular price.

Several older franchises are receiving especially low prices.
Batman: Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition costs $2.99. Arkham City Game of the Year Edition, Arkham Origins, and Arkham Knight are each priced at $3.99.
The LEGO Batman Trilogy is available for $4.99, while LEGO DC Super-Villains costs $5.99. Injustice 2 Legendary Edition has also dropped to $5.99.
Need for Speed discounts include Unbound at $4.89, Heat at $3.49, Hot Pursuit Remastered at $2.99, and Most Wanted at $1.99.

Star Wars: Squadrons has fallen to $3.99, while Riders Republic is also available for $3.99.
Garry’s Mod costs $4.99 and remains useful for community created modes and sandbox experiments, although much of its value depends on finding active servers and additional content.
GOG Celebrates Bethesda’s 40th Anniversary
GOG’s weekend promotion includes several Bethesda games sold without conventional digital rights management.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition costs $16.49, while Fallout 4 Game of the Year Edition and Dishonored Complete Collection are both available for $15.99.
Older Fallout and Elder Scrolls games are considerably cheaper. Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition costs $7.99, Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition is $6.59, and Morrowind Game of the Year Edition is $5.99.
