Clancy said Twitch has spent significant time speaking with Rockstar about its plans and how the streaming platform can involve creators around GTA 6.

His comments provide one of the clearest indications yet that a new GTA multiplayer experience may be planned for 2027, but the information should still be treated cautiously. Clancy did not refer to the project as Grand Theft Auto Online 2. That name remains unofficial.
