Bethesda is reportedly preparing to reveal the official title of The Elder Scrolls VI in November 2026, with the long-awaited RPG potentially receiving the name The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel.
According to a new report, the next installment will take place in Hammerfell, a region of Tamriel associated with the Redguards and the city of Sentinel.
The announcement could arrive around November 11, coinciding with the 15th anniversary of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
However, Bethesda has not confirmed the reported title, setting, or announcement schedule, meaning these details should be treated as unverified until an official reveal.
The Elder Scrolls VI Could Be Set in Hammerfell
Hammerfell has been widely discussed as a potential setting for the next Elder Scrolls game.
The region is located in western Tamriel and is known for its deserts, coastal settlements, and Redguard culture.
Sentinel is one of its prominent cities, making it a possible choice for the game's official subtitle.
The report also suggests that the story will place greater emphasis on the history and mysteries of the Elder Scrolls themselves.

Although these mysterious artifacts have appeared throughout the franchise, their origins and wider significance have remained subjects of speculation.
A story focused on them could introduce additional information about the series' established lore.
However, specific characters, gameplay mechanics, and narrative details have not been disclosed.
Bethesda Could Announce the Title in November 2026
The reported announcement would arrive more than eight years after Bethesda first revealed The Elder Scrolls VI at E3 2018.
The original teaser confirmed that the game was in development but provided little information about its setting or gameplay.
According to the latest claims, Bethesda could initially reveal the title before presenting a more extensive gameplay showcase in 2027.
Some speculation points toward a future Xbox Games Showcase, although no presentation has been officially scheduled for the game.
Previous clues have also contributed to the Sentinel theory.
These reportedly include a hidden reference in Starfield and an earlier social media hint suggesting that the game's subtitle contains eight letters.
Neither clue independently confirms the reported name.
The Elder Scrolls VI Still Has No Confirmed Release Date
Bethesda has not announced a release window for The Elder Scrolls VI.
The company also has not clarified whether the upcoming RPG will be exclusive to Xbox and PC or appear on additional platforms.
Meanwhile, Bethesda continues working on other projects within its established franchises, including Fallout.
For now, the possibility of a November announcement offers renewed interest in the sequel, but its title and release plans remain unconfirmed.
