Microsoft already has seven games confirmed for Xbox Game Pass in October 2026, with Gears of War: E Day leading the early lineup.
The month will also bring several smaller releases across Xbox Series X and S, PC and cloud, including Echo Weaver, Deep Dish Dungeon, Valor Mortis and The Séance of Blake Manor.
More additions are expected to be announced before October begins, so the current list is unlikely to represent the full Game Pass lineup.
| Game | Release date | Platforms |
|---|---|---|
| Gears of War: E Day | October 6 | Xbox Series X and S, PC, Cloud |
| Echo Weaver | October 8 | Xbox Series X and S, PC, Cloud |
| Deep Dish Dungeon | October 13 | Xbox Series X and S, PC, Cloud |
| Valor Mortis | October 13 | Xbox Series X and S, PC, Cloud |
| Beyond These Stars | October 15 | PC |
| The Séance of Blake Manor | October 27 | Xbox Series X and S, PC, Cloud |
| Terrible Lizards | October 29 | Xbox Series X and S, PC, Cloud |
Gears of War: E Day is the biggest October release so far
Gears of War: E Day arrives on October 6 and is currently the highest profile Game Pass addition confirmed for the month.
The game takes place 14 years before the original Gears of War and follows Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago during the first Emergence Day.
The campaign focuses on the beginning of the Locust invasion and the collapse that follows.
Alongside the story campaign, the game includes multiplayer and a redesigned PvE mode called Horde Siege.
It is being developed using Unreal Engine 5 and will be available on Xbox Series X and S, PC and through cloud gaming.
October also has several smaller day one additions
Echo Weaver follows on October 8.
It is a knowledge based Metroidvania built around a time loop. You play as the last Weaver and use information gathered from previous attempts to explore the world, solve its mysteries and eventually break the cycle.
October 13 brings two Game Pass releases on the same day.

Deep Dish Dungeon is a dungeon crawler focused on exploration, resource gathering, crafting and cooking. It supports solo play and cooperative multiplayer for up to three people.
Valor Mortis takes a darker direction. You play as William, a soldier from Napoleon's Grande Armée who rises from the dead after Europe is consumed by a mysterious plague.
Both games are coming to Xbox Series X and S, PC and cloud.
Beyond These Stars joins PC Game Pass on October 15
Beyond These Stars is currently confirmed only for PC Game Pass.
The city building game takes place on the back of Kewa, a giant sentient space whale travelling through the universe.
You build settlements, manage the needs of your population, meet other species and gradually learn more about the history of the Space Whales.
Its setting gives the normal city building formula a different structure because the world itself is constantly travelling through space.
Two more games close out the month
The Séance of Blake Manor arrives on October 27.
Set in 1897, the mystery game follows private investigator Declan Ward as he searches for a missing woman at Blake Manor.
His investigation takes place during preparations for a grand séance on All Hallows' Eve, with a group of mystics gathering at the manor to attempt contact with the dead.
Terrible Lizards follows on October 29.
The game takes place at Dalton's Dinos, a roadside dinosaur attraction along Route 66 in New Mexico. The staff have disappeared, and a mysterious voice contacts you for help finding a missing child.
Both games will be available on Xbox Series X and S, PC and cloud.
October 2026 is therefore already shaping up to be a busy month for Game Pass, especially with Gears of War: E Day arriving early. Microsoft is expected to add more games to the schedule before the full monthly lineup is finalized.
