The Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+ is $229.99 on Amazon at the time of writing, down from a $299.99 list price. That is not an undercut of Samsung, though. Samsung's own store sells the identical Wi-Fi model for exactly $229.99, also marked down from $299.99.

So this is a price match rather than a bargain nobody else is offering. The $299.99 anchor is at least real, because Samsung publishes the same figure as its own regular price.
The listing covers one configuration: 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, Gray, and Wi-Fi only. Amazon gives the model number as SM-X230NZANXAR, and the buy box is held by Amazon.com rather than a marketplace seller.
The price is also not gated behind Prime. The listing carries no Prime savings row and no higher regular price beneath it, so $229.99 is what everyone pays.
What the $229.99 Galaxy Tab A11+ configuration includes
Samsung's spec comparison lists an 11-inch TFT LCD panel, not an OLED. Amazon's detail table puts the resolution at 1920 x 1200, and the listing claims a refresh rate of up to 90Hz.
Storage expands by microSD to 2TB in total, which matters more here than the 128GB on the box. Samsung says the card is sold separately.
Two omissions are worth knowing before ordering. Samsung's own product page says the box holds a quick start guide, an ejection pin and a USB Type-C data cable, so the 25W charger needed for the advertised fast charging is not included.
The second is the stylus. Samsung's comparison table marks the S Pen as "Not compatible" for this model, while every Galaxy Tab S entry beside it reads "Included".

How long Samsung will keep updating the Galaxy Tab A11+
This is the figure that decides how long a budget Android tablet stays usable, and neither retail page states it. Samsung's mobile security page is the place it is actually published.
That page says Samsung has been extending security support "by up to 7 years" since January 2024. It also lists the Galaxy Tab A11+ under current models for quarterly security updates.
Quarterly means four patch rounds a year, not twelve. The Galaxy Tab S range sits in the monthly group on the same page.
Seven generations of software upgrades have been reported for the model through Samsung's regional newsroom, but that wording does not appear on the US pages. Counting seven years from the tablet's late 2025 release points to roughly 2032.
The chipset is the other buried detail. Samsung names it only as the MediaTek MT8775, and it has been reported as a Dimensity 7300 class part, a chip MediaTek announced in May 2024.
That makes the silicon roughly two and a half years old at this price. It is mid-range rather than current, which is the trade for a seven-year support promise on a $229.99 tablet.
How the Galaxy Tab A11+ compares with other tablets
| Tablet | Price | Buy box |
|---|---|---|
| Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+ 128GB | $229.99 | Amazon.com |
| Amazon Fire HD 10 | $154.99 | Amazon.com |
| Apple iPad 11-inch, A16, 128GB | $399.00 | Amazon.com |
| Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+ 256GB | $379.99 | Amazon.com |
The Amazon Fire HD 10 is $154.99 and saves $75. It runs Fire OS instead of Android, so there is no Play Store and no Samsung update commitment, and Amazon's own apps run on Android tablets anyway.
The Apple iPad 11-inch with the A16 chip is $399.00, down from $449.00. That is $169.01 more for a current-generation chip and stylus support, but no microSD slot.
The step up inside the range is the trap. The 8GB and 256GB Galaxy Tab A11+ is $379.99 on Amazon, while Samsung charges $309.99 for it.
So the price match only holds on the 128GB model. Anyone who wants more memory should buy direct, and anyone who only wants more space can use the microSD slot instead. Samsung's larger Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ sits well above all of these.
What the Amazon listing leaves out
The bullets describe hardware this ASIN does not have. One reads "up to 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage", which is the $379.99 model, not the $229.99 one.
The chipset is never named on the listing, which calls it only "the upgraded chipset". The battery capacity, the 25W charging figure and the missing charger are all absent from the sales copy too.
Also unpublished are the rear camera resolution, the panel type, the dimensions and the weight. Nothing on the page mentions the update window or that the S Pen will not work.
Amazon pricing moves without notice and the listing gives no end date for this one, so the $229.99 figure holds only while the page says so. A similar price match on the Galaxy Z Fold8 showed the same pattern earlier this month.
