October Prime Day officially runs from October 6 through October 7, but several retailers have already started discounting prebuilt gaming PCs. The current offers range from budget systems under $1,000 to high end machines with RTX 5080 or RX 9070 XT graphics.
The broader PC market is still dealing with a severe memory shortage, which has pushed system prices higher than in previous years. Even with that pressure, some of the early discounts are strong enough to stand out, especially on machines that combine current generation GPUs with reasonable storage and memory configurations.
RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti Systems Drop Below $1,000
One of the cheapest options is a Yawyore gaming PC with a Ryzen 5 5600GT, 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 512 GB SSD for $599.99. It relies on integrated graphics, so it is better suited to lighter 1080p gaming and future upgrading than demanding modern titles at high settings.
A more capable option is the ABS Cyclone Aqua with an RTX 5060, currently priced at $949. It pairs the GPU with a Core 5 120 processor, 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 1 TB SSD. The system makes some compromises on CPU and memory, but it provides a straightforward entry into current generation discrete graphics.
The MSI Codex Z2C looks stronger at $999. It includes an RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB, Ryzen 7 8700F, 16 GB of DDR5 memory and a 1 TB SSD. Its AM5 platform also leaves more room for future CPU upgrades.
| Gaming PC | GPU | Price | Key hardware |
|---|---|---|---|
| Yawyore Gaming PC | Integrated graphics | $599.99 | Ryzen 5 5600GT, 16 GB DDR4 |
| ABS Cyclone Aqua | RTX 5060 | $949 | Core 5 120, 16 GB DDR4 |
| MSI Codex Z2C | RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB | $999 | Ryzen 7 8700F, 16 GB DDR5 |
| ABS Cyclone Aqua | RTX 5070 | $1,599.99 | Core i7 14700F, 32 GB DDR4 |
| Andromeda Spectra | RX 9070 XT | $1,749.99 | Ryzen 5 9600X, 16 GB DDR5 |
| Skytech Shadow4 | RX 9070 XT | $1,899.99 | Ryzen 7 9700X, 32 GB DDR5 |
| HP Omen 35L | RTX 5080 | $2,799.99 | Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 32 GB DDR5 |
RX 9070 XT Builds Offer Strong Midrange and High End Value
The ABS Cyclone Aqua with an RTX 5070 is listed at $1,599.99. It includes a Core i7 14700F, 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a 1 TB SSD, making it one of the better rounded systems in the midrange.
AMD based systems also look competitive.
The Andromeda Insights AMD Spectra pairs a Ryzen 5 9600X with an RX 9070 XT, 16 GB of DDR5 memory and a 1 TB SSD for $1,749.99. The configuration leaves room for future upgrades, including a faster X3D processor or additional memory.
The Skytech Shadow4 costs $1,899.99 and improves the balance with a Ryzen 7 9700X and 32 GB of DDR5 6000 memory alongside the same RX 9070 XT. Its main limitation is the 1 TB SSD, which may feel restrictive for a large game library.
Ryzen 7 9800X3D Builds Dominate the High End
Several systems above $2,000 combine the Ryzen 7 9800X3D with high end GPUs.
A CyberPowerPC configuration with the 9800X3D, RX 9070 XT, 32 GB of DDR5 and a 2 TB SSD has dropped to $2,259.99. That combination delivers a strong balance of gaming performance, memory and storage without obvious weaknesses in the core specification.
NVIDIA options cost more.
The Skytech Tempest pairs the 9800X3D with an RTX 5070 Ti, 32 GB of DDR5 and a 2 TB SSD for $2,430. It is aimed at buyers who prefer NVIDIA features while still targeting strong 1440p and some 4K gaming performance.

One of the biggest discounts is on the HP Omen 35L. Its price has fallen from $4,999.99 to $2,799.99, a reduction of $2,200. The system includes a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, RTX 5080, 32 GB of DDR5 6000 memory and a 2 TB SSD.
Other RTX 5080 systems remain closer to $3,000 or above, including configurations from Stormcraft, Andromeda and Skytech.
The current deals show that prebuilt gaming PCs can sometimes offer better value than buying individual components during a period of high memory and GPU pricing. Systems around $1,000 now provide access to RTX 5060 class performance, while the strongest high end deals combine the Ryzen 7 9800X3D with RX 9070 XT or RTX 5080 graphics.
For buyers who need a complete gaming system rather than a single component upgrade, the early October discounts provide several more competitive options than the broader 2026 market has offered in recent months.
