NVIDIA releases GeForce driver 610.74 for DOOM The Dark Ages Revelations and Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced

NVIDIA has released a new GeForce Game Ready driver, version 610.74, with launch support for DOOM: The Dark Ages, Revelations and Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. The driver is aimed at GeForce RTX players who want optimized performance and access to the latest DLSS features in two major July releases.

The update arrives alongside DOOM: The Dark Ages, Revelations, the new campaign expansion for id Software’s latest shooter. Although it is technically downloadable content, the expansion is being positioned as a substantial release, with around 10 to 12 hours of content. That puts it close to the combined size of both DOOM Eternal expansions.

Revelations adds the Chain Spear, a new weapon built around fast movement, a grapple style function, and an upgrade tree. The expansion also introduces the Slayer’s Hub, a Metroidvania style space that grows as players progress. Its structure is split between a base campaign portion and Endgame content, with the latter adding six maps, a Master level difficulty, hidden retro doors that lead to remastered classic DOOM stages, and an Uber Boss that unlocks four Master Arenas.

DLSS support is a major focus across the new driver update

NVIDIA’s new driver also supports Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, which launches on July 9. The remake rebuilds the 2013 pirate adventure on the modern Anvil engine, bringing updated combat, stealth, naval systems, and visuals. The new combat system leans more heavily on parries and action timing, while stealth now includes free crouching and revised tailing and eavesdropping mechanics.

Naval gameplay also receives changes, including stronger weather effects and expanded systems around sailing and ship combat. The remake adds new story content as well, with more attention given to characters such as Blackbeard and Stede Bonnet, along with new officer focused narrative threads.

DOOM: The Dark Ages, Revelations supports DLSS Multi Frame Generation up to 6X mode, DLSS Super Resolution, and path tracing with DLSS Ray Reconstruction. NVIDIA says the GeForce RTX 5090 can reach up to 310 FPS at 4K with maximum settings, though real results will depend on the system configuration and settings used.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced also supports ray traced reflections and lighting. GeForce RTX owners can use DLSS Multi Frame Generation, Frame Generation, and Super Resolution. Through the NVIDIA app, players can also move to the latest DLSS 4.5 models, including Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and updated Super Resolution.

The driver also brings attention to Gray Zone Warfare. After recent content updates and its move to Unreal Engine 5.5, the tactical shooter now supports native DLSS 4.5 features, including Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and Super Resolution. That should help players improve performance in its open world environments, especially on RTX hardware.

This driver is mainly useful for players planning to jump into these releases at launch. DOOM: The Dark Ages, Revelations is pushing heavy rendering features such as path tracing, while Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is using ray tracing and modern upscaling to refresh one of Ubisoft’s most popular entries. For RTX owners, updating to driver 610.74 should provide the best starting point before playing either game.
