Lisuan’s LX 7G100 sells out first batch after 30,000 preorders as driver and game guide arrive

Lisuan’s LX 7G100 graphics card has sold out its first preorder batch after reaching 30,000 preorders, giving China’s new gaming GPU maker an early demand signal despite mixed first impressions from reviews. The company has also released WHQL Windows drivers and an official recommended settings guide for 40 games, showing that it is trying to make the card easier to use for early buyers.

The LX 7G100 is not being positioned as a high end gaming GPU, and early testing suggested that it does not match the performance many PC gamers would expect from a new graphics card in 2026. Still, the fact that the first batch sold out shows there is interest in domestic Chinese GPU hardware, especially as new vendors try to compete in a market dominated by Nvidia, AMD, and Intel.

Lisuan is using game specific settings to make its new GPU easier to live with

One of the more unusual parts of the launch is Lisuan’s official game settings list. New GPU vendors often struggle with game compatibility, driver maturity, and inconsistent performance. By publishing recommended settings for 40 games, Lisuan is giving buyers a practical starting point instead of leaving them to experiment on their own.

The list includes 29 DirectX 12 games, 9 DirectX 11 games, and 2 DirectX 9 games. Some of the bigger titles include Cyberpunk 2077, Black Myth: Wukong, Horizon Forbidden West, WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers, PUBG, Resident Evil 4, Stellar Blade, Grand Theft Auto V, Baldur’s Gate 3, The Witcher 3, and Elden Ring.

Lisuan is leaning heavily on upscaling and frame generation where possible. The company recommends AMD FSR in many games, including FSR 3 and frame generation in titles such as Cyberpunk 2077, Black Myth: Wukong, Horizon Forbidden West, Stellar Blade, Delta Force, and Where Winds Meet. That makes sense because upscaling can help a lower performance GPU produce smoother results at higher visual settings.

Some recommendations are very specific. Cyberpunk 2077 is listed with high or ultra presets, FSR 3.0 auto scaling, 0.5 sharpening, and FSR 3.1 frame generation. Black Myth: Wukong is listed with FSR 3, frame generation enabled, 63 sharpening, and medium or high image quality. Resident Evil 4 is listed with variable frame rate, 4K animation resolution, FSR2 set to frame rate priority, high 8GB textures, and hair quality turned off.

The guide also recommends fullscreen borderless mode where possible. That may help avoid compatibility issues and make switching between apps smoother, although performance can vary depending on the game and driver behavior.

The WHQL driver release is also important. A certified Windows driver does not automatically guarantee great gaming performance, but it helps show that Lisuan is moving beyond prototype level support. For a new GPU company, driver stability may matter even more than raw hardware specs because many modern games rely on mature driver optimization.

The broader story is not that Lisuan has suddenly built a rival to mainstream Radeon or GeForce cards. It has not. The real story is that China’s GPU industry is slowly moving from demonstrations and limited tests toward actual consumer products with retail demand, drivers, and game support materials.

The LX 7G100 still has a lot to prove. Buyers will want better performance, better compatibility, and faster driver updates over time. But selling out a first batch after 30,000 preorders gives Lisuan a stronger starting point than many expected. For now, the card looks less like a threat to Nvidia or AMD and more like an early step in China’s attempt to build a more independent gaming GPU ecosystem.
