Lenovo's Pro 9n combines Nvidia's new RTX Spark computing platform with a high quality OLED display, powerful AI capabilities and a portable design. However, its expensive configurations and relatively modest battery life make it a specialized laptop rather than an obvious choice for everyone.
The laptop starts at $2,999.99, while its highest configuration reaches $6,099.99. After three weeks of testing, the device demonstrated strong performance across local AI workloads, gaming, productivity and digital drawing.
Its main appeal lies in its unified memory architecture and RTX Blackwell graphics, which allow professionals to run demanding applications and AI models locally.
Lenovo Pro 9n Specifications and Pricing
The entry configuration includes an 18 core Nvidia N1X processor, 32GB of unified memory and a 512GB SSD.
The premium model increases processing power, memory and storage considerably.
| Specification | Base configuration | Highest configuration |
|---|---|---|
| Processor | Nvidia N1X, 18 cores | Nvidia N1X, 20 cores |
| GPU | RTX Blackwell, 5,120 cores | RTX Blackwell, 6,144 cores |
| RAM | 32GB unified | 128GB unified |
| Storage | 512GB SSD | 2TB SSD |
| Starting price | $2,999.99 | $6,099.99 |
Both configurations belong to Nvidia's RTX Spark platform, although the higher specification is better suited to intensive AI development.
OLED Display and Premium Design Improve Everyday Use
The Pro 9n features a 15.3 inch OLED display with a 2560 × 1600 resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision support.
Testing found excellent color accuracy, with different display presets allowing full coverage of several color spaces when configured appropriately.

The laptop also features an aluminum construction, weighs approximately 1.65kg and measures 16.7mm thick.
Its port selection includes two USB4 connections, two USB Type A ports, HDMI and an SD card reader.
Another unusual feature is the large haptic touchpad, which supports drawing and handwriting with Lenovo's included Yoga Pen.
The keyboard, four speaker audio system and 9.2MP webcam also received positive assessments during testing.
However, the webcam lacks human presence detection, and Lenovo does not offer a higher resolution display option.
RTX Spark Handles Gaming and Local AI Workloads
The tested 18 core configuration performed well in demanding games, including The Witcher 3 Remastered with ray tracing enabled.
Local AI testing also produced encouraging results, with the laptop successfully running language models through LM Studio.
However, the 20 core RTX Spark processor maintained an advantage in several AI benchmarks, particularly text generation and computer vision.
Cooling performance was another strength. Fan noise remained below 43dB during extended stress testing, while surface temperatures stayed manageable.
Battery life was less impressive, averaging approximately eight to ten hours during mixed use.
Demanding gaming reduced endurance further, making the laptop less suitable for extended gaming sessions away from a charger.
The Lenovo Pro 9n is therefore best suited to professionals who can benefit from its AI acceleration, unified memory and creative features.
For general productivity or gaming alone, its high price makes less expensive alternatives worth considering.
