Intel has released graphics driver 32.0.101.9034 with support for Gears of War: E Day and Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, two major PC releases arriving in October 2026.
The driver is available for Intel Arc B Series and A Series graphics cards, along with Intel Core Ultra processors featuring integrated Arc graphics. It is a non WHQL release, meaning it has not completed Microsoft's WHQL certification process.
Intel has not provided specific performance figures for either newly supported game. However, installing the latest driver should give you the intended compatibility, stability and optimization profile if you plan to play either title on supported Intel hardware.
Gears of War: E Day launches on October 6, while Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve arrived on October 2.
Gears of War E Day Still Has Performance Issues on Some Intel GPUs
While the new driver adds official support for Gears of War: E Day, Intel is still investigating lower than expected performance on several hardware families.
The issue affects Arc A Series graphics cards, Intel Core Ultra Series 2 systems on certain configurations and Intel Core Ultra Series 1 processors with integrated Arc graphics.
Intel does not currently list the same Gears of War performance problem for Arc B Series products or Core Ultra Series 3 hardware.
| Intel hardware | Gears of War E Day status |
|---|---|
| Arc B Series | Official game support added |
| Arc A Series | Lower than expected performance may occur |
| Core Ultra Series 3 | Official driver support |
| Core Ultra Series 2 | Lower performance possible on some systems |
| Core Ultra Series 1 | Lower than expected performance may occur |
The driver does not include any newly listed bug fixes, so its main purpose is support for the two new games.
There is still a relatively long list of known problems affecting Intel graphics hardware.

Arc B Series and Arc A Series owners may encounter crashes in Arena Breakout Infinite when Terrain Surface Subdivision is enabled under DirectX 12.
PugetBench for DaVinci Resolve Studio can also crash intermittently on Arc B Series and A Series hardware. Intel recommends increasing the benchmark timeout setting to 1,500 seconds or more so each test has enough time to finish.
Adobe Lightroom Classic's PugetBench test may crash when using the extended preset across several supported Intel platforms.
Core Ultra Systems Have Additional Known Issues
Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with integrated Arc graphics may experience crashes while playing Mafia: The Old Country using DirectX 12.
Core Ultra Series 2 systems have several additional problems. EA Sports FC 27 may crash on certain configurations, while the Procyon AI Image Generation and AI Text Generation benchmarks may fail to complete.
On Core Ultra Series 1 systems, NBA 2K26 can crash when the game is launched for the first time.
Despite those unresolved issues, the release is important for anyone preparing to run Intel graphics with this month's major games.
Gears of War: E Day is particularly notable because Intel has added launch support while simultaneously acknowledging performance limitations on multiple older Arc architectures. If you use an Arc A Series card or an affected Core Ultra system, installing the new driver is still sensible, but it does not guarantee that all performance problems have been addressed.
Driver 32.0.101.9034 is therefore mainly a game support update rather than a broader maintenance release. It prepares Intel's Arc platform for Gears of War: E Day and Ace Combat 8 while leaving several existing crashes, benchmark failures and performance issues for future updates.
