HKC has introduced a new 43.8 inch ultrawide monitor called the Tianqi 43H180C, combining an unusual 24:9 aspect ratio with a 5760 x 2160 resolution and refresh rates of up to 180Hz.
The display stands out because most existing 43.8 inch ultrawide monitors use a much wider 32:9 format and a lower 3840 x 1080 resolution.
HKC’s new model instead offers a taller workspace while still providing a much broader view than a conventional 16:9 monitor.

The 24:9 format offers more vertical space
The Tianqi 43H180C uses a 24:9 aspect ratio, which gives it a different shape from the more common 32:9 ultrawide monitors in this size class.
Its 5760 x 2160 resolution also provides significantly more pixels than standard 3840 x 2160 4K.
The total pixel count is roughly 1.5 times higher than conventional 4K, which should result in sharper text and more workspace for productivity.
For gaming, the display offers an ultrawide field of view without becoming as horizontally stretched as a 32:9 panel.
The added resolution will also place much more pressure on the graphics card.
Running modern games at 5760 x 2160 and high refresh rates will likely require a very powerful GPU, particularly if demanding visual settings are enabled.
180Hz refresh rate targets gaming as well as productivity
HKC supports refresh rates of up to 180Hz at the monitor’s native resolution.
That gives the Tianqi 43H180C strong gaming credentials on paper, although reaching frame rates close to 180 FPS at 5760 x 2160 will be difficult in many modern games.
Even high end GPUs may need reduced settings or upscaling technologies to maintain high frame rates at this resolution.
The monitor uses a 1000R curved panel, which should help keep the outer edges of the large screen within a more natural viewing angle.
Triple screen mode could help multitasking
HKC has also included a triple screen mode.
The feature can divide the display into three 1920 x 2160 sections, effectively creating three tall virtual screens across one physical panel.

That setup could be useful for video editing, coding, financial applications or other workflows that benefit from keeping several windows visible at once.
A single ultrawide panel also avoids the bezels and cable clutter associated with using three separate monitors.
Mini LED and wide color coverage target creators
The Tianqi 43H180C uses Mini LED backlighting and is rated for 99% coverage of the DCI P3 color space.
That combination makes the monitor relevant to content creation as well as gaming.
Mini LED backlighting can provide stronger brightness control and better contrast than conventional LCD backlights, depending on the number of local dimming zones and their implementation.
HKC has not yet provided detailed information about the local dimming system, brightness levels or HDR certification.
Connectivity includes DP 2.1 and 96W USB C
Connectivity is another strong point.
The monitor includes DisplayPort 2.1, which is useful for driving its high resolution and refresh rate.
There is also a USB Type C connection with up to 96W power delivery, allowing compatible laptops to receive power while sending a video signal through the same cable.
A built in KVM function is also supported, making it easier to control multiple connected systems with the same keyboard and mouse.
HKC has not announced retail pricing or wider availability for the Tianqi 43H180C.
Its unusual 24:9 format and 5760 x 2160 resolution make it one of the more distinctive ultrawide displays announced in 2026, particularly for buyers who want a large workspace without moving to a full 32:9 super ultrawide panel.
