Amazon is selling the Hisense 55-inch E7 Cinema Series mini-LED TV at $548.99, but the larger discount on that page sits behind a Prime membership. The listing offers the same 55E7SF set at $449.99 to Prime members, and shows $548.99 to everyone else.

The set is a 2026 model with a mini-LED backlight, 144 local dimming zones and a native 144Hz panel. It runs Fire TV with Alexa built in, rather than the VIDAA software on the Hisense and VIDAA sets that added Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Against the $749.99 list price, $548.99 is a 27% cut worth $201. The Prime price of $449.99 is a 40% cut worth $300.
Amazon.com holds the buy box and ships the set, with no marketplace seller involved. Stock was listed as available at the time of writing.
Where the $548.99 price actually sits
The open price is less impressive than that percentage suggests. Price tracking for this listing has been reported at an average of $537.87 across 170 days, with a low of $427.97 in July 2026.
However, the $749.99 anchor is not invented. The same tracking has the listing selling at $749.99 in April 2026, so the comparison price is one Amazon has charged.
The practical reading is that $548.99 is roughly the normal street price for this set. The $449.99 Prime figure is the part worth acting on, and it is the same kind of membership gate that turns up on cheaper Fire TV sets.

Hisense 55E7SF specifications
Hisense publishes a spec table for this exact model code, and it settles a claim the Amazon bullets get wrong. Amazon says the backlight uses thousands of light zones, while Hisense says hundreds on its own product page and gives the figure as 144 in its specifications.
| Specification | Hisense 55E7SF |
|---|---|
| Screen | 55-inch 4K UHD |
| Backlight | Mini-LED PRO with full array local dimming |
| Local dimming zones | 144 |
| Brightness | Up to 600 nits |
| Native refresh rate | 144Hz |
| Gaming | Native 144Hz Game Mode, VRR, ALLM, FreeSync |
| HDMI | 4 ports, two HDMI 2.0 and two HDMI 2.1, eARC on HDMI 1 |
| HDR | Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+ Adaptive, HDR10, HLG |
| Audio | 2.0 channel, 2 x 10W, Dolby Atmos |
| Smart platform | Fire TV with Alexa built in |
| Wireless | Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4 |
Up to 600 nits places this in the entry tier of mini-LED rather than near the top. The two HDMI 2.1 inputs and the 144Hz panel are the parts that matter most for a console or a gaming PC.
Cheaper 55-inch mini-LED sets at Amazon
Two mini-LED televisions of the same size undercut the E7SF open price without any membership. The step-up Hisense 55U7SF goes the other way, and carries a Prime gate of its own.
| Television | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Hisense 55E7SF | $548.99, or $449.99 with Prime | 144 zones, native 144Hz, Fire TV |
| Hisense 55U6SF Pro | $497.97 | Mini-LED, native 144Hz, Fire TV |
| TCL 55QM6K | $497.99 | Mini-LED QLED, Google TV |
| Hisense 55U7SF | $730.37, or $599.99 with Prime | Native 165Hz, 2.1.2 channel audio |
Amazon.com holds the buy box on all three alternatives. The Hisense 55U6SF Pro and the TCL 55QM6K both sit about $51 under the E7SF open price, which echoes an earlier TCL mini-LED at the same screen size.
What the listing leaves out
Neither Amazon nor Hisense publishes a measured brightness result, a contrast ratio or an input lag figure for the 55E7SF. Amazon's specification table describes the contrast ratio only as High.
The two sources also disagree on FreeSync. Hisense lists FreeSync Premium Pro in its specifications, while the artwork and the product video on the Amazon listing both say FreeSync Premium.
Hisense's own 144Hz graphic adds a footnote that the mode needs a compatible connection from a PC over HDMI. No end date is published for the Prime pricing, and prices at Amazon can change without notice.
