Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has not announced anything new, but his latest comment makes another delay sound unlikely. Speaking during the iicon conference, and as reported by IGN, Zelnick joked that many people will probably be calling in sick on November 19. That was a small comment, but it strongly suggests Take-Two is still treating that date as the real launch target.

Zelnick did not confirm a number, but he suggested that Take-Two wants players to feel the price is fair compared with the value of the game.

That does not fully rule out a higher price, but it does make it sound like Take-Two knows the risk. GTA 6 may be the rare game that could test the market because demand is so high. Still, even Rockstar has to be careful. A higher price would create a major debate, especially at a time when players are already sensitive to expensive games, DLC, subscriptions, and live-service monetization.

The reason fans are watching every comment closely is simple: GTA 6 is not a normal release. It is expected to become one of the biggest entertainment launches ever. Even small details, such as a preorder date or pricing hint, can start days of discussion.
