Six games join GeForce NOW this week
Nvidia is starting October with six additions.
Minecraft Dungeons II, which launched on Xbox on September 29, is now supported through GeForce NOW and is also available through Game Pass.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered is another major addition. GeForce NOW support covers its Battle.net and Xbox Play Anywhere versions, with Microsoft Store access also available.
The remaining games joining this week are Nivalis Nights, Bookshop Simulator, Megastore: Tidy Up Together, and Planet Coaster 2.
Planet Coaster 2 can also be accessed through Game Pass.
Gears of War E Day arrives on October 6
One of the biggest additions of the month is Gears of War: E Day.
The game is scheduled to join GeForce NOW on October 6 alongside its Steam release.
STAR WARS: Galactic Racer is also set to arrive on the same day.
Both titles represent the more prominent new releases in Nvidia’s October cloud gaming schedule.
More new releases arrive throughout October
The lineup expands quickly after October 6.
Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival, Order of the Sinking Star, and Silver Pines are all scheduled for October 8.
Permafrost follows on October 9.
October 13 brings Deep Dish Dungeon, Planet Zoo 2, Total War: SHOGUN 2 Complete Edition, and Valor Mortis.
The next day adds Among the Trolls, over the hill, and Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2.
Beyond These Stars and Tenebris Somnia are scheduled for October 16.
Several other games are also listed without a specific date, including Dimraeth, Graveyard Keeper 2, Solasta II, and Tyr.
Nvidia may add more games during the month
The announced schedule is not necessarily complete.
Nvidia regularly adds extra GeForce NOW titles during the month, so additional games may appear outside the current list.
The October lineup already covers a wide range of genres, including shooters, strategy games, simulation titles, horror releases, and RPGs.
That mix continues GeForce NOW’s focus on supporting both major releases and smaller PC games rather than concentrating only on large publishers.
GeForce NOW does not include game ownership
GeForce NOW works differently from subscription libraries such as Game Pass or EA Play.
A GeForce NOW membership gives you access to Nvidia’s cloud servers, but it does not automatically give you ownership of supported games.
You generally need to own the game through a supported PC storefront before you can stream it.
An existing PC Game Pass license can also work for supported games where that access method is available.
This means titles such as Gears of War: E Day still require a valid game license even after they are added to GeForce NOW.
Monthly playtime limits still apply
GeForce NOW subscriptions also include limits on how many hours you can use the service each month.
That restriction remains in place regardless of how many supported games are added to the catalog.
For October, however, the service is receiving a fairly broad selection of new releases, with Gears of War: E Day, The Witcher 3 Remastered, Minecraft Dungeons II, STAR WARS: Galactic Racer, and Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 among the most notable additions.
