GALAX Launches Black Soul RTX 5070 Ti HOF Cards With Up to 2640 MHz Boost Clock

GALAX has introduced two black versions of its GeForce RTX 5070 Ti HOF OC LAB graphics card. The new lineup includes the RTX 5070 Ti HOF OC LAB Black Soul and the faster Black Soul X.

Both cards use an all-black design across the cooler, backplate, heatsink fins, heat pipes, and printed circuit board. GALAX has kept the crown-shaped HOF cooler and ARGB lighting found on the existing white models, giving buyers another colour option without changing the underlying GPU specification.

The Black Soul X is now the fastest RTX 5070 Ti HOF model listed by GALAX, with a boost clock of 2640 MHz.

Black Soul and Black Soul X specifications

The standard Black Soul model reaches a 2610 MHz boost clock. The Black Soul X increases this to 2640 MHz and also includes a secondary Gaming Mode BIOS with a lower 2512 MHz boost clock.

The two models share the same GPU configuration and memory system. Their main technical difference is the factory boost clock, along with the additional BIOS mode available on the Black Soul X.

GALAX has not provided detailed information about power limits, manual overclocking controls, or whether the Black Soul X uses selected GPU chips.

All-black design replaces the traditional white HOF finish

GALAX’s Hall of Fame graphics cards are commonly associated with white coolers and matching printed circuit boards.

The Black Soul series changes that appearance across nearly every visible component. The cooler housing, rear plate, internal heatsink, heat pipes, and PCB all use a black finish.

This makes the new cards easier to match with conventional black gaming systems while preserving the recognisable shape of the HOF OC LAB cooler.

GALAX displayed the Black Soul design at ChinaJoy 2026, where the complete black treatment could be seen across the front, back, and internal cooling components.

Black Soul X becomes the fastest RTX 5070 Ti HOF model

GALAX now lists six HOF variants based on the RTX 5070 Ti.

HOF Gaming Black Edition2625 MHz
HOF OC LAB Black Soul2610 MHz
HOF OC LAB Black Soul X2640 MHz
HOF OC LAB Deluxe2580 MHz
HOF OC LAB Deluxe-X2610 MHz

The Black Soul X leads the range at 2640 MHz, placing it 15 MHz above the HOF Gaming models and 30 MHz above the standard Black Soul.

These are relatively small differences, so real gaming performance is likely to remain close across the higher-clocked variants. Cooling behaviour, noise levels, power limits, and manual overclocking potential may have a greater effect on the overall experience.

The cards retain standard RTX 5070 Ti hardware

Both Black Soul models include 8,960 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR7 memory running at 28 Gbps across a 256-bit interface.

They use one 12V-2x6 power connector and have a 300W total graphics power rating. GALAX recommends a 750W power supply.

The Black Soul X measures 349.4 by 160 by 60 mm with its mounting bracket, making it a large graphics card that will require a spacious case.

Builders should check GPU clearance, cable space, and slot availability before purchasing. The 12V-2x6 connector also needs enough room to avoid excessive cable bending near the side panel.

A support bracket may be useful because of the card’s size and weight, although GALAX has not detailed the included accessories.

Pricing and wider availability remain unknown

GALAX has not confirmed pricing for either Black Soul model.

The company has also not announced whether the cards will be sold outside China. HOF products often have limited regional availability, so international buyers may need to rely on selected retailers or import channels.

The new models do not introduce a different GPU configuration from other RTX 5070 Ti HOF cards. Their main purpose is to provide a complete black design and, in the case of the Black Soul X, the highest factory boost clock in GALAX’s current RTX 5070 Ti HOF range.

For buyers building a black system who prefer the HOF cooler design, the Black Soul cards offer a more suitable alternative to the existing white editions. Final value will depend on pricing, availability, cooling performance, and how large a premium GALAX charges for the OC LAB branding and factory overclock.
