Question: I uninstalled Windows Media Player (WMP) following the article’s advice by using either the command prompt or windows shell method – can’t remember which. I now find that WMP is an essential prerequisite for running videos on my favorite FastStone Photo App, as it apparently relies on the in-built codecs. Desperately, please: How can I possibly re-install the WMP? It will not show either in the optional apps nor in the control panel! Any help available?
I had to uninstall it as i use audacious for music and vlc for videos because windows media player doesnt support certain file types and too the new movies and tv in windows 10 takes a hell lot of seconds to start
