None of these worked for me. For one thing, there is no search icon either, and “search” doesn’t show up at all in the window that opens on the right of the screen (can’t remember what that’s called).
It was working before. I was playing around with the small icons in the taskbar (which I loved, but didn’t like not having the date) so I changed it back. So that’s turned off and the taskbar is on the bottom, but there’s still no search bar, no search icon, and no “search” option anywhere in any menu I can find.
I’m really confused. I was told to access a removable app from my computer by using the search box. OK, I got the box, but why does it access the internet, instead of going to where the defective program is, on my hard drive?
