Amazon is selling the Samsung 65-inch S85H OLED 4K TV for $1,397.99 at the time of writing, $200 below its listed $1,597.99, a price that sits $2 under Samsung.com and $602 under Samsung's launch price.
The configuration is a 65-inch 4K OLED set (model QN65S85HAEXZA) with a 120Hz panel, four HDMI inputs that all accept 4K at 120Hz, the NQ4 AI Gen2 processor and Tizen, which Samsung says gets up to 7 years of OS updates.
What the $200 saving is measured against
The 13% discount on the Amazon listing is calculated from a $1,597.99 list price, but that figure is not what Samsung charged at launch.
Samsung's April 2, 2026 announcement of its 2026 OLED lineup put the 65-inch S85H at $1,999.99, so the Amazon price is $602, or about 30%, below the launch price.
The deal also barely beats the manufacturer, since the 65-inch S85H on Samsung.com was $1,399.99 on September 12 after a $600 instant saving.
That leaves Amazon $2 cheaper, and the Samsung.com price data listed that offer as valid until September 13, so the two prices may not stay matched.

The HDMI line stands out, because every input accepts 4K 120Hz, so a console and a gaming PC do not compete for fast ports.
HDR support is limited to HDR10+ on Samsung's list, and there is no Dolby Vision entry, while the TCL, Sony and Hisense alternatives below all list Dolby Vision.
Samsung also does not say which OLED panel technology the S85H uses. Third-party reports have described it as a WOLED series with suppliers varying by size, which Samsung has not confirmed.
S85H versus the 65-inch S90H
The 65-inch S90H was $1,599.99 on Samsung.com on September 12, about $202 more than the S85H on Amazon.
According to Samsung, that extra money adds Glare Free, Motion Xcelerator 165Hz, the NQ4 AI Gen3 processor, FreeSync Premium Pro and the higher OLED HDR+ branding.
Samsung's footnotes also state that the S85H lacks Auto HDR Remastering and AI Motion Enhancer.
The S95H, $2,799.99 on Samsung.com, is the only one of the three series listed as Wireless One Connect Ready, a feature explained in this guide on whether Samsung TVs ship with a One Connect box.
Last year's models are another route, as the LG C5 OLED deal at $1,099 alongside Samsung S90F discounts showed in June.
How the S85H compares with other 65-inch TVs
These alternatives had live Amazon prices on September 12; specs come from each manufacturer unless marked as Amazon listing claims.

The TCL QM7L is $500 cheaper and TCL's series specs list up to 3000 peak nits, a figure Samsung does not publish for the S85H, but only HDMI 1 and 2 run at 4K 144Hz while HDMI 3 and 4 are limited to 4K 60Hz.
Smaller TCL Mini LED sets go lower still, as the 55-inch QM64L Amazon deal below $500 showed in July.
The 65-inch Samsung QN70H costs $400 less, but Samsung lists it at a native 60Hz with three HDMI inputs capped at 4K 60Hz, a clear gaming downgrade.
The Sony BRAVIA 8 II is a 2025 QD-OLED model with Dolby Vision, but it costs $1,100 more, and Sony's US page does not confirm how many HDMI 2.1 ports it has.
The Hisense U6 Pro is the cheapest option at $649, though brightness and HDMI count were not available from Hisense's page, and Amazon says "hundreds" of dimming zones while Hisense says "thousands".
What has not been confirmed
- Samsung does not state whether the 65-inch S85H uses a WOLED or QD-OLED panel.
- Samsung does not publish a peak brightness figure; a retailer figure of around 800 nits has been reported but is not from Samsung.
- Dolby Vision does not appear in Samsung's S85H spec list.
- The Samsung spec page does not list which cloud gaming services are available in Gaming Hub on the S85H.
- Amazon does not show a deal end date or stock status, and Samsung.com's matching price was listed as valid until September 13.
- A live Amazon price for the 65-inch S90H was not available.
