AMD’s Ryzen 7 9800X3D has dropped to $429 as part of a new bundle that also includes a free 240 mm liquid cooler and a copy of Onimusha: Way of the Sword.
The processor is currently listed at $469, but a $40 promotional discount brings the final price down to $429. The bundle adds an MSI MAG CoreLiquid A13 240 mm AIO cooler valued at around $70 and the game, which is also valued at about $70.
That gives the package roughly $140 in additional value beyond the CPU discount itself.
For anyone planning a gaming PC upgrade, the offer makes the Ryzen 7 9800X3D particularly attractive because the included cooler removes another component from the build budget.
Several Ryzen X3D Processors Are Included in the Sale
The Ryzen 7 9800X3D is not the only processor receiving a discount or bundled hardware.
AMD’s newer Ryzen 7 9850X3D is available for $469 and also includes a free liquid cooler and a copy of Onimusha: Way of the Sword. The 9850X3D offers slightly higher performance than the 9800X3D, although the difference is generally small.
The Ryzen 9 9950X3D is also part of the promotion. This 16 core, 32 thread processor is aimed at buyers who want strong gaming performance while also handling heavier productivity workloads.
| Processor | Current price | Included extra |
|---|---|---|
| Ryzen 7 9800X3D | $429 after promo | MSI 240 mm AIO and Onimusha |
| Ryzen 7 9850X3D | $469 | Free AIO and game |
| Ryzen 9 9950X3D | Varies by listing | Free AIO and game |
| Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 | Varies by listing | Free AIO and game |
| Ryzen 7 7800X3D | $348 | Free 850 W PSU |
| Ryzen 7 7700X3D | $309 | Free 850 W PSU |
The Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 Dual Edition is another higher end option included in the current promotion. It comes with a free Cooler Master 240 mm AIO cooler and a copy of the game.
These higher tier chips may appeal more to buyers who want additional cores for rendering, content creation or other heavily threaded workloads.
Ryzen 7 7800X3D and 7700X3D Get Lower Prices
Buyers with a smaller budget also have several options.
The Ryzen 7 7800X3D has dropped from $416 to $348, a reduction of $68. It also comes with an ASRock PRO Series 850 W ATX 3.1 power supply valued at around $84.
The Ryzen 7 7700X3D has fallen even further to $309, which is described as its lowest price so far. It includes the same free ASRock power supply.
These older X3D processors remain useful choices for gaming systems because AMD’s 3D V Cache technology is designed to improve performance in workloads that benefit from a larger CPU cache.
The free power supply also changes the value equation for anyone assembling a complete PC rather than replacing only the processor.
For the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, the $429 price is not the lowest the processor has ever reached, since it has previously fallen close to $400. However, the combination of the CPU discount, free liquid cooler and game makes the current bundle more valuable than the processor price alone suggests.
The strongest option depends on your budget and workload. The Ryzen 7 9800X3D offers a balanced gaming focused package, while the Ryzen 7 7800X3D and 7700X3D provide cheaper entry points. The Ryzen 9 models remain better suited to systems where gaming performance and heavy productivity work are both priorities.
