Epic Games Store is offering River City Girls 2 and I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream as free PC games this week. You can claim both titles until July 9, after which they will remain permanently in your Epic Games library.
The new giveaway replaces last week’s RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition and Voidwrought offers. The two games are very different in style, giving players a choice between a colourful co-op brawler and a dark psychological adventure.
River City Girls 2 Brings Back Its Co-op Beat-’Em-Up Action
River City Girls 2 continues the story of Misako and Kyoko as they fight through River City against the Sabu crime syndicate. The sequel expands the original game with more playable characters, additional areas, combo-focused combat, and co-op multiplayer.
The game uses pixel art visuals and an open city structure rather than a simple sequence of levels. You can explore different districts, take on missions, destroy objects, upgrade characters, and fight through groups of enemies using each character’s own combat style.

The computer tortures the survivors through different scenarios connected to their pasts. You control each character through these stories, making choices and solving puzzles that can influence the outcome.
The game is much slower and more disturbing than River City Girls 2. It focuses on psychological horror, guilt, fear, morality, and the effects of long-term suffering. Its age is noticeable in some of its design, but the story remains one of the more unusual examples of horror in classic PC gaming.

Both games are available to claim until July 9. Once you add them to your Epic Games Store account, they will remain in your library permanently.
