PS Plus Extra adds Star Wars Outlaws and Red Dead Redemption 2 in May

PlayStation has revealed the May 2026 games coming to PS Plus Extra and Premium, and this month’s lineup is led by Star Wars Outlaws and Red Dead Redemption 2.

The new catalog additions arrive on May 19, 2026. Extra and Premium subscribers will get seven Game Catalog titles, while Premium subscribers also get one Classic Catalog game.

Star Wars Outlaws is the biggest new addition. Ubisoft’s open world Star Wars game gives subscribers a chance to try it without buying it separately, which should help anyone who skipped it at launch.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is still the strongest name in the lineup, but its return is also a little frustrating. Rockstar’s western epic was already part of PS Plus Extra before, then left the catalog, and is now being added again. It is great for anyone who missed it, but repeat additions can make the service feel less fresh.

The rest of the lineup adds more variety. Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn brings action RPG combat, Bramble: The Mountain King offers dark fairy tale horror, The Thaumaturge adds story driven RPG mystery, and Enotria: The Last Song gives soulslike fans another option.

Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars Reforged is also a nice addition for adventure game fans, while Time Crisis gives Premium subscribers a classic PlayStation arcade shooter from 1997.

This is a stronger month than April in terms of variety, even if Red Dead Redemption 2 being recycled weakens the excitement a bit. Star Wars Outlaws, Flintlock, The Thaumaturge, Enotria, and Bramble all help make the lineup feel more useful for players looking for something they have not already seen in the catalog.

The May PS Plus Extra and Premium games go live on May 19.
