NVIDIA has announced a new giveaway tied to 007 First Light, offering one winner a custom GeForce RTX 5080 Founders Edition graphics card and a PC copy of the upcoming James Bond game.
The special RTX 5080 uses a 007 First Light inspired design on the backplate, making it more of a collector item than a normal Founders Edition card. NVIDIA is running the giveaway through X, where fans can enter by commenting with the hashtag #007FirstLightRTX on the official giveaway post. The winner will be selected randomly.
The giveaway arrives ahead of the game’s launch on May 27. 007 First Light is being developed by IO Interactive and is an action adventure game built around James Bond. It follows a new mission rather than retelling one of the older films.
NVIDIA’s RTX 5080 should be far more powerful than what the game needs. The minimum PC requirements list hardware such as an Intel Core i5 9500 or Ryzen 5 3500 with a GeForce RTX 1660 or Radeon RX 5700. The recommended setup includes an Intel Core i5 13500 or Ryzen 5 7600 with an RTX 3060 Ti or Radeon RX 6700 XT.

The RTX 5080 comes with 16GB of GDDR7 memory and is aimed at high end PC gaming. For a game with fairly modest recommended requirements, it should have no problem delivering strong performance at 1440p and should also be a solid choice for 4K gameplay.
NVIDIA has also been promoting 007 First Light through a GeForce RTX 50 series bundle, starting with the RTX 5060 Ti. This custom RTX 5080 giveaway is separate and gives fans a chance to win a much higher end card without buying one.
The timing makes sense for both NVIDIA and IO Interactive. A custom GPU can bring extra attention to the game before launch, while the James Bond branding gives NVIDIA another themed hardware promotion for its RTX 50 series lineup.
