HP OmniBook X Flip 14 drops to $649.99 in early Memorial Day deal

HP’s OmniBook X Flip 14 is now available for $649.99 at Best Buy in an early Memorial Day deal, bringing the 2 in 1 Copilot Plus laptop down from its usual $949.99 price. That is a $300 discount and makes it a stronger option for students, office workers, and anyone who wants a flexible Windows laptop with long battery life.

This version comes with an Intel Core Ultra 5 226V processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD. It also includes an NPU rated at 40 TOPS, which means it can handle Copilot Plus features and some local AI tasks more efficiently than older laptops.

The OmniBook X Flip 14 is not built for heavy gaming or demanding creative work, but it is designed well for everyday productivity. Office apps, web browsing, video calls, note taking, streaming, and light creative tasks should run smoothly.

The biggest strength of this configuration is efficiency. The Core Ultra 5 226V is not the most powerful chip in the OmniBook X Flip 14 family, but it offers good power management and cooling. That should help the laptop stay quiet, run cooler, and last longer away from the charger.

For most people, the $649.99 Intel model is the better value. It offers a good screen, strong battery life, convertible design, modern AI hardware, and enough performance for normal daily work. At this price, the HP OmniBook X Flip 14 looks like one of the better mid range 2 in 1 laptop deals before Memorial Day.
