Gigabyte has introduced a new AORUS Elite monitor lineup at Computex 2026, led by a 27 inch 5K Mini LED gaming display and three new WOLED models built for high end gaming setups. The lineup focuses on sharper resolution, faster refresh rates, strong HDR performance, and flexible display modes for both immersive and competitive play.
The most interesting model is the AORUS Elite FM275K16P, which Gigabyte describes as the world’s first 5K glossy Mini LED gaming monitor. It uses a 27 inch panel with a very high pixel density of 218 PPI, giving it much sharper image clarity than most standard 1440p or 4K gaming monitors in this size range.
The Mini LED backlight includes 2,304 local dimming zones, which should help the monitor deliver deeper blacks, stronger contrast, and better HDR control. More dimming zones can also reduce the halo effect that sometimes appears around bright objects on dark backgrounds.
The FM275K16P also includes a triple mode setup. It can run at 5K resolution with a 165Hz refresh rate, switch to UHD at 220Hz, or drop to QHD at 330Hz. That makes the monitor more flexible than a normal fixed mode display. You can use 5K for sharp visuals in story driven games or creative work, then switch to QHD when you want higher frame rates in competitive titles.

Gigabyte has also included DisplayPort 2.1 with 80Gbps bandwidth on the 5K Mini LED model, which is important for high resolution and high refresh rate output. HDMI 2.1 with eARC is also included, making the monitor more flexible for modern PCs, consoles, and audio setups. The display supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G Sync compatibility, along with a 1ms GtG response time and up to 1,250 nits of HDR peak brightness.

The rest of the lineup moves into OLED. Gigabyte showed three AORUS Elite monitors using fourth generation Tandem WOLED technology. The FO32U24GP is a 32 inch 4K dual mode display that can run at UHD 240Hz or FHD 480Hz. This gives players a choice between sharper image quality and faster competitive performance.
The FO32U24G appears to offer similar core specifications, though with some differences in connectivity. Both 32 inch models are aimed at players who want a large OLED screen that can handle cinematic games and fast multiplayer sessions.
The smaller OLED option is the FO27Q28G, a 27 inch QHD monitor with a 280Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms GtG response time. That model is clearly aimed at competitive players who want OLED’s fast pixel response without moving to a larger 32 inch display.
All three WOLED monitors are rated for up to 1,500 nits of peak brightness, 99.5 percent DCI P3 coverage, and Delta E below 2 color accuracy. They also support AMD FreeSync Premium and Nvidia G Sync compatibility, along with Gigabyte’s AI picture mode and tactical gaming features.
The new lineup shows how quickly gaming monitors are changing. A few years ago, 4K 144Hz was considered premium. Now, companies are pushing 5K Mini LED, 4K OLED at 240Hz, and 1080p modes at 480Hz from the same display. The goal is no longer only better resolution or better speed. It is giving players one monitor that can shift between different needs.
Pricing and final availability details have not been fully shared, so value is still hard to judge. These monitors are clearly aimed at the premium segment, especially the 5K Mini LED and 32 inch Tandem WOLED models.
For now, Gigabyte’s new AORUS Elite lineup looks strong on paper. The FM275K16P stands out for its 5K Mini LED panel and triple mode flexibility, while the WOLED models give players brighter OLED options with fast refresh rates and strong color coverage. If the final pricing is competitive, Gigabyte could have one of the more interesting monitor lineups of Computex 2026.
