Forza Horizon 6 launches with hundreds of confirmed cars and more already coming

Forza Horizon 6 is now available in early access, and Playground Games is starting big.

The game will have 550 cars in its initial launch lineup, though the full list has not been revealed yet. So far, 392 cars have been confirmed, with more expected through launch updates, Festival Playlists, paid car packs, bonuses, and promotional DLC.

The full public launch is set for May 19, 2026, on Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Xbox Game Pass. A PlayStation 5 version is also planned for later in 2026.

As expected from a Forza Horizon game set in Japan, Japanese cars are a major focus. The confirmed list includes many Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Lexus, and Acura models.

Some of the highlights include the Toyota Supra RZ, Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT Apex, Toyota GR Yaris, Nissan Skyline GT R models, Nissan Silvia variants, Honda NSX R, Mazda RX 7, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution models, Subaru Impreza 22B STi, and Lexus LFA.

The list also includes some fun Japanese city cars and oddballs, such as the Autozam AZ 1, Honda Acty, Nissan Figaro, Nissan PAO, Nissan S Cargo, Toyota Sera, Toyota JPN Taxi, and Wuling Hongguang Mini EV Macaron.

The lineup is not only Japanese, though. Forza Horizon 6 also includes major American, European, and exotic brands. Confirmed names include Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, BMW, Audi, Mercedes AMG, Aston Martin, McLaren, Koenigsegg, Pagani, Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford, Cadillac, Jeep, and many more.

Car packs will add more vehicles, but they will be paid extras. The Italian Passion Car Pack includes cars such as the Alfa Romeo SE 048SP, Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm, Ferrari 275 GTB4 Spider, and Ferrari F80R. The Time Attack Car Pack includes several Honda, Nissan, Toyota, and Mitsubishi race focused builds.

There are also promotional cars tied to real products. The Toyota Sports 800 Fanta Edition and Peel P50 Trolli Edition require promotional DLC codes from Xbox collaborations with Fanta and Trolli.

The first Festival Playlist, Series 1, starts on May 21 and will add more cars shortly after launch. That means the car list will begin growing almost immediately after the full release.

Forza Horizon 6 reviews are already strong, and the early access launch has given players a first look at what may become one of the most Japan focused car lists the series has ever had.

The confirmed list is already broad, but the main appeal is clear. If you love Japanese performance cars, kei cars, taxis, tuners, rally icons, and GT legends, Forza Horizon 6 looks built for you.
