I have a Samsung-SM-N910A Note 4 with Android version 6.0.1 software. AT&T says that the software is up to date. I have not been able to make any of the provided instructions work to obtain the Wi-Fi password. Any other suggestions? Note: I do have the password written down in a safe place.
I have a Galaxy S10 and was unable to see it but Oz Edri’s method works. If I actually send the QR code to another device and use it to connect, I can then see the password that way. Of course the new device was not a Galaxy so that may not always work.
Thank you for another great tutorial.
For Samsung phones, a nice workaround to get the password from the QR code is to take a screenshot of it, then hitting the Google Lens icon on it within Google Photos. It’ll immediately identify the network name, password, and type.
