Dell has cut prices on two of its productivity focused Plus laptops ahead of the main Black Friday sales period, reducing selected configurations of the Dell 14 Plus and Dell 16 Plus.
The Dell 14 Plus is now priced at $1,109.99, down from $1,379.99, while the Dell 16 Plus has fallen to $1,559.99 from $1,629.99.
Both machines are aimed at work, study and general Windows 11 use rather than gaming. They use Intel Core Ultra processors with built in NPUs, making them compatible with Copilot+ PC features and other local AI workloads.
Dell 14 Plus gets the bigger discount
The Dell 14 Plus receives the more substantial reduction.
Its current configuration includes an Intel Core Ultra 5 226V processor, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD.
The laptop also includes a 14 inch QHD+ display running at 120Hz.

The 14 inch model weighs around 3.42 pounds, making it the more portable option of the two.
Dell estimates up to 22 hours of local video playback, although real world battery life will vary depending on brightness, workload and connectivity.
Dell 16 Plus offers more screen space
The Dell 16 Plus is aimed at buyers who want a larger display and more storage.
It uses a Core Ultra 7 256V processor paired with 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD.
Its 16 inch QHD+ display runs at 2560 x 1600 resolution and supports a 120Hz refresh rate.
The laptop weighs around 4.12 pounds, which is heavier than the smaller model but still reasonable for a 16 inch productivity machine.
Dell lists up to 20 hours of local video playback.
The built in NPU is rated at 47 TOPS, giving the machine enough local AI performance to support Copilot+ PC features.
Both laptops focus on productivity rather than gaming
Neither laptop includes a dedicated graphics card.
That means they are better suited to office software, web browsing, media playback, video calls, light creative work and less demanding games.
Modern integrated Intel graphics can handle casual and lightweight gaming, but buyers looking for stronger performance in graphically demanding titles will be better served by a dedicated gaming laptop.
The design follows the same practical approach.
There is no emphasis on RGB lighting or aggressive gaming styling. Instead, Dell is focusing on portability, battery life, display quality and everyday connectivity.
RAM is soldered but SSD storage can be replaced
One important limitation is memory upgradability.
Both laptops use soldered RAM, which means you cannot increase the installed memory after purchase.
For that reason, choosing the right amount of RAM at checkout is important.
The SSD is more flexible.
Dell uses a replaceable Gen4x4 QLC SSD, so storage can be upgraded later if the included capacity becomes too restrictive.
Connectivity on the smaller Dell 14 Plus includes USB A, HDMI and USB C 3.2 Gen 2 ports, giving it a practical mix of legacy and newer connections.
Early discounts arrive before the holiday sales period
The timing of these reductions is notable because Black Friday is still several weeks away.
The Dell 14 Plus receives the stronger deal at roughly $270 below its previous price, while the Dell 16 Plus drops by around $70.
