Belkin has unveiled a new Charging Case Pro for Nintendo Switch 2, adding a built-in battery status screen to one of its most popular gaming accessories. The company announced the product during CES 2026, positioning it as a premium travel and charging solution for Switch 2 owners who want longer play sessions without juggling extra power banks.
The standout addition is a small integrated display on the case exterior that shows remaining battery capacity at a glance. Players can check charge levels without opening the case or connecting the console, which addresses a long-standing pain point for portable gaming accessories.
Built-in power and smarter charging
The Charging Case Pro includes a 10,000mAh internal battery capable of delivering fast charging to the Nintendo Switch 2. Belkin designed the case so users can recharge the internal battery directly through a USB-C port on the outside, eliminating the need to remove the console or battery pack.
Belkin also added an adjustable kickstand, allowing the Switch 2 to stand upright for tabletop play while charging. This makes the case useful not just for storage, but also for extended gaming sessions in airports, hotels, or shared spaces.
Storage and travel-focused design
Beyond power, the Charging Case Pro doubles as a protective travel case. It offers dedicated space for the Nintendo Switch 2 console, accessories, and up to 12 physical game cartridges. A small internal pocket stores charging cables, while a hidden compartment supports Bluetooth trackers like Apple’s AirTag, helping users locate the case if it goes missing.
Belkin confirmed that the new Charging Case Pro supports Nintendo Switch 2 only and does not fit original Switch or Switch OLED models, reflecting the revised dimensions and port layout of Nintendo’s latest console.

Belkin plans to sell the Charging Case Pro for $99.99, placing it above the company’s previous Switch 2 charging case but adding new functionality to justify the price. The accessory launches in multiple color options, with availability beginning in mid-January 2026 through major retailers and Belkin’s online store.
