Battlefield 6 is free to try on Xbox this weekend

Xbox Free Play Days is back with three games available to try this weekend, and Battlefield 6 is the biggest name in the lineup.

The offer is available to Xbox Game Pass members across Ultimate, Premium, and Essential. Players can jump in without buying the games first, and any progress or achievements earned during the free period will carry over if they decide to purchase afterward.

This weekend’s lineup includes Battlefield 6, Bassmaster Fishing, and JDM: Japanese Drift Master.

Battlefield 6 is the main draw. This free weekend appears to include only the multiplayer portion of the game, but the timing is still good. Battlefield 6 just received its third seasonal update, which brought back the Railway to Golmud map, added a new battle pass, introduced three new weapons, and included more content.

That makes this a useful chance for players who skipped the game at launch or dropped off earlier to see how it feels after the Season 3 update.

JDM: Japanese Drift Master gives racing fans something different. It is a single player open world driving game focused on drifting through Japanese roads, including rural routes and highways.

Bassmaster Fishing is aimed at players who want a slower competitive experience. It includes licensed gear, real venues, and multiplayer modes built around tournament style fishing.

The games are also discounted on the Microsoft Store during the promotion, so anyone who enjoys them over the weekend can buy them at a lower price.

To find the Free Play Days games on Xbox, open the Store, go to the Home section in the sidebar, then open the Subscriptions tab. The Free Play Days collection should appear there.
