Have three of these boards. The constant, eventthough heavily mitigated disconnects are annoying. Also 13900T works really bad with this board [2 units tested] as well as 13600K. They overheat, T eats 230 – 280W instead of 35W and when I turn off Asus Optimizations, the CPU performs at 20% of its rated speed. For me, the B760 is the way. Z790 iTX from Asus is a big fat disaster.

Hi. Yes, the audio features are available only through the Hive.

I just installed this in a Fractal Torrent Nano. All worked out fine, very tight but that’s ok. What I can’t work out is how to connect the case audio to the board? The case has headphone out and mic in, with a HD audio lead going into the case, but it has nowhere to go. What can I do here? The external Hive seems interesting but I feel like they’ve cheated on the features. They couldn’t actually fit the audio capabilities internally so “just” put it in an external module. That I will have to move with the pc anytime I need audio… or am I wrong?
