Amazon Prime Members Can Claim 14 Steam Deck Friendly Games at No Extra Cost

Amazon Prime members can currently claim 14 PC games that are either Verified or Playable on the Steam Deck. The selection covers strategy, puzzle, role playing, and action games, with individual claim deadlines running from July 22 to September 23, 2026.

The games are included as part of the monthly benefits available through Amazon’s gaming service. Once you claim a title before its deadline, it remains in your library even after the promotion ends or your Prime subscription expires.

However, these offers do not provide Steam keys. The games must be redeemed through platforms including GOG, the Epic Games Store, Amazon Games, and Legacy Games. Steam Deck owners may therefore need a third party launcher such as Heroic Games Launcher to install and run titles from those stores.

Most games in the current collection have received a Steam Deck Verified rating, meaning they should work well on the handheld without major changes. The titles marked Playable may require manual control adjustments, text scaling, or another small change before they provide a comfortable experience.

All 14 Steam Deck compatible games available to claim

Sugardew Island has the earliest deadline and must be claimed by July 22. The relaxed farming game is Steam Deck Verified, making it one of the easiest titles in the group to install and play on the handheld.

Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch and Please, Touch the Artwork expire one week later on July 29. Lost Eidolons offers tactical role playing combat, while Please, Touch the Artwork provides a quieter puzzle experience built around abstract art.

Strategy fans have several notable choices. Symphony of War: The Nephilim Saga combines tactical battles with army management, while XCOM: Chimera Squad offers turn based combat in the established XCOM setting. Terraforming Mars adapts the strategy board game for digital play.

Some games will require a separate launcher

Claiming a game does not automatically add it to your Steam account. Each title is connected to the store listed in the offer, and you must redeem it using the appropriate account.

GOG and Epic Games Store titles can usually be managed on the Steam Deck through Heroic Games Launcher. This application allows you to sign into supported stores, download your games, and add shortcuts to the handheld’s main gaming interface.

Amazon Games and Legacy Games releases may require additional setup because their launchers do not have the same level of native Linux support. Compatibility can also change with software updates, so a Playable rating does not guarantee that every feature will work immediately.

The Verified games should generally provide the most straightforward experience. Even then, installations from non Steam platforms may require more work than downloading a game directly from the Steam store.

Prime members should claim every title that looks interesting before its listed deadline, even if they do not plan to install it immediately. Redeeming the offer permanently attaches the game to the relevant account, allowing it to be downloaded later without an additional purchase.
