50 plus Xbox games are up to 95 percent off in latest sale

Xbox players have a large batch of cheap games to check this week, with more than 50 titles currently discounted by 90 to 95 percent across the latest Xbox sales.

Many of the deals are part of the ID@Xbox Mega Sale, which has brought steep discounts to a mix of indie games, older AAA releases, co op titles, shooters, fighting games, sports games, and horror releases. Some of these prices are unusually low, especially for games that do not often drop into the 90 percent off range.

Battlefield Hardline is one of the cheapest deals on the list at $0.99, with a 95 percent discount. That one may be worth noting because the game is getting delisted soon. Other Battlefield titles are also heavily reduced, including Battlefield 1 Revolution, Battlefield V Definitive Edition, and Battlefield 2042 Elite Edition.

There are some strong co op choices in the sale. Golf With Your Friends Starter Edition is down to $2.69, while Back 4 Blood Ultimate Edition is $9.99. Zombie Army Trilogy and Zombie Army 4 are both $4.99, making them easy picks for players who want cheap zombie shooting with friends.

TMNT: Splintered Fate is another standout at $2.99. It is not the kind of game that always gets huge discounts, so this price may attract players who skipped it earlier. Soulstice is also down to $3.99, while Strange Brigade is $4.99.

The sale also includes several bigger publisher releases. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is heavily discounted, although the US discount is 85 percent rather than 90 percent. Dead Island 2 Ultimate Edition returns at $6.99, while Wild Hearts Karakuri Edition is down to $8.99. Star Wars: Squadrons is $3.99, and Need for Speed Heat Deluxe Edition is $6.99.

There are also good discounts outside the 90 percent range. Some 85 percent off highlights include Dead Island Definitive Collection, Devil May Cry HD Collection, Everspace, Mafia: Definitive Edition, and Metro Exodus. The 80 percent off list includes Deliver Us The Moon, Ghostrunner 2 Brutal Edition, Hotline Miami Collection, Kingdom Come: Deliverance Royal Edition, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, Sniper Elite 3, and Worms W.M.D.

This sale is useful because it covers several types of players. If you want co op, there is Golf With Your Friends, Back 4 Blood, and Zombie Army. If you want cheap shooters, Battlefield and Star Wars: Squadrons are easy options. If you want action or fighting games, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, Soulstice, and Shadow Warrior are worth checking.

The best values may be Battlefield Hardline because of its low price and upcoming delisting, TMNT: Splintered Fate because of its rare deep discount, and Dead Island 2 Ultimate Edition because it includes a bigger modern release at a very low price.

As always, prices can vary by region, and some deals may expire sooner than others. But for now, Xbox has one of its better low price sales running, especially for players who want to build a library without spending much.
