A 3D artist who bought two used RTX 5090 graphics cards for a project has reportedly discovered that one of them is an exceptionally rare ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090 White OC signed by NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang.
The card is believed to be the same one shown during ASUS' 30th anniversary celebrations, making it potentially unique.
Instead of installing the GPU in a workstation, the buyer has now consigned it for auction, where it carries an estimated value of between $10,000 and $15,000.
The card was originally bought for a 3D project
According to the account provided by the buyer, he and a friend purchased two RTX 5090 graphics cards through the second hand market for use in a 3D project.
One of those cards turned out to be a white ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090 OC model.
At first, the buyer reportedly believed the signature on the card belonged to an ASUS executive.
After opening the package and examining the backplate, he realized that the signature appeared to belong to Jensen Huang instead.
