Does manual system restore point comes with an expiry date?
I’ve heard that it only hangs around for 3 months and after that system itself cleans the point to make new points. Is that true? if so who may i be able to create a permanent one
From the above we can only get a sense of what a restore point is, but not what it actually is. Please consider the following:
What is contained in a Restore Point? Would you please provide a list of items contained therein; i.e., registry, drivers, software and software-related-data, with directories, etc. Also, perhaps add a list of significant items that are not included, but that users might think are included, and name directories.
Hello Sky,
in my opinion, a restore point just like a system backup image. It contains both your system files and personal data. No matter the restore point or the system backup image, they all can help you restore system after system gets in trouble. You can use the built-in tool to create a restore point like the passage said, or you can do a system backup by using other software like AOMEI Backupper to protect your data.
Hope this could be helpful.
