The Brennan B2 2 TB music storage and playback system is a nightmare. The
inventor for all his supposed tech savvy has left purchasers of his system in a real bind. When the B2 is interrupted while ingesting data say with a power failure or other it causes a glitch that can only be fixed by downloading all music to an external drive, reformatting the B2 hard drive and uploading the music files back in. He insists only fat 32 compatible drives be used but as we all know and your article points out there exist much better ,faster and safer ways to backup data these days. He says it could take days to perform his “fix” Isn’t that ridiculous? Perhaps that’s why The B2 isn’t flying off the shelves.Maybe he’s too lazy to redesign and upgrade or not cost effective for his sales. Too bad because for folks that want to maintain control of their music in Flac quality files the B2 is great and yet not so great. Cheers

I still use my MAC Power PC (OS 10.4.8, I think); it is old and keeps running. I use it for Photoshop CS2. Slowly switching to a Windows machine, and I want to use a new external drive as my day to day “work drive” for my photo files. I filled up my 500GB external drive. I think the MAC Classic OS cannot read or write to an EX-FAT formatted drive. Retired: trying to catch up with technology.

I download mp3 from you tube to my usb pen drive then i play this to audio player but not recognized, what i did is to format to FAT 32 then redownload the songs. Again I insert this pendrive to audio player and the result is very good.

I downloaded FAT Sorter to organize my music & audio book files on a Micro Center USB drive (32 GB) This allowed me to organize files in the order I wished to play them
